I was born Jewish, grew up in a typical secular Jewish household. Christianity was taught to me as something to fear, inherently anti-Jewish, a usurpation of ancient Judaism. To even explore Christianity was seen as a smack in the face of your ancestors, and allowing that dead Austrian painter to be victorious. It took me decades to see the fulfillment of my Judaism in Jesus, in particular the inherent contradictions in Jewish practice, how you can be an atheist socialist repairing the world and still be seen as following Judaism, and for me what hit hard was Isaiah 53:5. I was taught that the Jewish people = suffering servant, but this made no sense when I revisited it in adulthood. I found channels like yours which gave a whole new perspective, and I was slowly drawn to Christ, and was baptized at 50.

So funny about the "anti-missionary rabbi". I was talked into going to his "class" on Messianic Judaism when family became concerned about my faith. As an intellectual going in with an open mind, I was very disappointed (as was my family member). There were no valid points; it was a poor stand-up bit to laugh at the idea of Jesus. When he mocked the name "Christ", saying it stupidly means "oil", encouraging people to mock with him, I corrected it to my companion (annointed one, Mashiach in Hebrew), hopefully loudly enough for others to hear as well.

God Bless. Thank you for having me on!

👏🏼🙏🏼❤ Messianic  non Jewish person in Los Angeles.  Blessings on your new ministry Highway 53, Jeff.

Ty Ash, you're an answer to prayer. Here's a verse that points to three days:

Hosea 6:2 KJV — After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

This is the best (most honest) scholar/teacher of scripture . Fantastic, must watch. THANKS

I just sent this video to a Jewish woman I work with. Sometimes I don’t know how to defend or argue. I just share my testimony of healing to her. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you Jeff for your excellent interview with Ash❤ Elohim bless you 🎉 ❤Aunt Mimi Levi in Hawaii

Thank you very, very   much. This discussion opened my eyes to my questions ❤

When i was little I thought Jesus's last name was Christ. So you had Joseph Christ, and Mary Christ. I was raised Jewish. I did nit understand. Love you comment about the surname

The dream team!  Outstanding!!!

This is a great video! I got saved and believed on Jesus from reading the Old Testament. I’m praying for Israel everyday. I know there are Orthodox Jews who love God, I pray any receive the revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ before the tribulation!
“I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.”
Romans 11:1 🕊️

We pray all will know the love and forgiveness of The Prince of Peace, Yeshua Ha Mashiach, Jesus The Messiah ❤

I loved and appreciated the info!

I loved this. As an Orthodox Christian learning about the Tanakh from a Jewish-Christian perspective was enlightening. Thank you so much for making me understand better. 🙏✝️🇦🇺
