That time when Anderson was in odi, Chris Gayle used to field in the deep, and umpires were being dramatic with slow decisions

Andrew Strauss hitting sixes at will
The world has changed a lot in 16 years

Era when Gayle use to hit more fours than sixes

Gayle was a consistent ODI batsman in the 2000's

***And an useful bowler 👏

Happiness is seeing Gayle running like Dhoni between the wickets ❤️

Watching this live was such a treat. Chris Gayle played a gem, sarwan played well too.

CricViz did an incredible stats job to ascertain player impact in ODI cricket and found Flintoff to have the highest match impact of any player of the 21st century. A bowling average of 24 and batting average of 32 at a strike rate of 89 demonstrates why that was the case.

165 balls 132 by Gayle..rare sight..this man is capable of  scoring 250runs  in 165 balls

How much has Anderson's bowling action changed! And Gayle's running two's!! Ah... the 2000's...❣️

"Never drop Gayle or you will pay"
🏏🌪️💪

Can't imagine Chris Gayle had only one six in this match

This is old footage which explains no scoreboard at the bottom of the screen back then constant on screen scoreboards weren't used as often then as they are now they did show the score at important moments though...

A young, fit Dwayne Smith wow

Gayle got 3 wickets in that game...
His 132 came of 165 deliveries while sarwan scored 89 of 78 balls
Powell finished the game by scoring a 22 ball 33

Even Brian lara sir was running to hug chris gayle 😍😍😍

Hard to believe that 2004 was 16 years ago..

One hell of a team that was .. WI .... Lara, Gayle, Sarwan, Chanderpaul, Powell, smith, Bravo.... At that time, I used to wait for wi vs aus series. Only team which gave aus a tough fight ....

Flintoff's played his best ODI knocks in 2004 !

I always liked Flintoff what a great player
