I remember my dad consoling me, he said son, the Rams don't have a chance to win but they had a good season. Then Ferragamo worked his magic and the rest is History. God Bless the RAMS!

how can this be 45 years ago already.

I remember watching this on tv. Such a good game.

I forgot Vin Scully broadcasted nfl games

I will NEVER forget this game!! As a Rams fan I could not have been happier to see them beat the Cowboys, in Dallas, on their first Superbowl!!! Youngblood finishing the game on a BROKEN LEG no less!

@3:14…when Jack Youngblood broke his left tibia…and came back in the second half!…played the rest of this game, the NFC title game vs the Bucs, Super Bowl XIV, and even the Pro Bowl…incredible

I absolutely love these older games. So much reminds me when I was young watching these. I always remember CBS had the NFC and NBC had the AFC. These full broadcast should be available to watch somewhere not just highlights that are 15 minutes long.

Who is watching this in 2019 after Rams just beat Cowboys in the divisional playoffs?

This was the last game of Staubach's career.

Vin Scully! Fun fact his last NFL game was “the Catch”

Waddy Ferragamo Connection was Epic!!!

Of ALL the Rams teams of the 1970s to make the super bowl this 9-7 version did it. They always had trouble with the Cowboys and Vikings. They gave Steelers a tough challenge and it was a great game to watch.

Jack Youngblood is the model of a true football warrior-Returning to the game after breaking his fibula to help his team advance to the NFC Title Game.  He even got a sack on Staubuck after breaking his leg.  What a tremendous effort 👏

The legend Vin scully calling NFL games thats awesome

One of the great playoff games of all time…. Billy Waddy’s catch and run was truly shocking…. The Cowboys had the game in the bag and lightning struck!

I was an 11-year old Rams fan watching this game with my dad, who was a Cowboys fan.  He was not happy.  LOL

I was 16, now 59. Man, where does the time go?! I do remember when my boy's lost this game.

I was in a week long coma at USC Medical Center intensive care unit. I had a bad case of Spinal Meningitis and I was fighting for my life.   While out of my mind talking gibberish, I told nurses and family members the Rams had to win this game for me to survive.  This is the first time seeing this game.  Oh yea, I survived (obviously), thanks to the Rams?

Vin scully doing the play by play

Love those Ram uniforms
