When I heard the US government were releasing the classified UFO files I didn't expect to see this .

Wow—amazing to see 4 ppl reacting with respect, giving space, listening, and offering thoughtful insights. Their appreciation of this incredible music was outstanding.

Every talented musician I have ever known who has watched this video, has NOTHING BUT PRAISE for this band. They blend avante-garde brilliantly creative music, with DANCEABILITY, like this is "seriously artistic music you can shake your ass to". Heavy at times, like a dark circus. Playful at times, funky, quarky, just soooooo many levels of elite musicianship going on. Absolutely badass artistic vision, these two.

As a 72yr old performer musician and guitar teacher for 55yrs these skilled 2 musicians have to pull this off is stunning and in many ways unbelievable. So much focus is on the guitarist and not enough on the drummer who is keeping a beat with multiple guitar loops happening. The changes are spot in with a tightness seldom present with many bands. I had to watch several videos to catch much of what was going on. They peg themselves as Techno rock

The name of the second number, Mata Zyklek, is a play on the word motocyclette - or motorcycle. Your take on Baby Driver was spot on.

What I love about Angine de Poitrine is that there are so many levels you can appreciate them. Impeccable musicianship and skill, good songwriting, rythmic complexity, the live loop mixing, the visuals, You can deep dive into avery aspect of what they are doing and get really theoretical, or you can just chuck out all the mental stuff and joyfully groove with it. Amazing!!

I've been waiting 30 years for this. My new favorite band.

québecois here ... by now, most likely, you've discovered that the guitars are microtonal which give us the sound and all ... and don't miss out on the looping quality going here ... these two are amazingly talented ....

I don’t know Amber, but she is devouring this performance and understands how good this is! 😂 Welcome to the club

these guys are as tight as anybody. live looping , changing sounds ,complex rhythms and they stay together every second. the guitar is micro-tonal. and man is that some badass bass playing.

12M in 2-months … on their KEXP concert. They have blown up!

What I've been kinda stunned by (probably cos I've never given it much thought tbh) is how quickly the music goes from 'out of tune' to my ear/brain to 'just music'.

As plenty of people have pointed out, microtones are used in plenty of other (non western/'standard') music, but we're just not listening to them much/at all, so haven't become attuned to them.

It's like AdP have opened a pyramid-shaped musical third ear for so many of us and it's fantastic to see.

Groovy AF too. Fabienk 🤘

According to an interview they gave, there's no symbolism to their costumes, except the dollar signs meaning that these characters and music are the "product", not the people underneath. They are very humble sounding guys who prefer to remain anonymous, and blend with the crowd after a show, without anyone knowing who they are.
