Old school lunatic, they don't make them like they used to.

So, Norm's impression was apparently a perfect representation.

“Will you ever forgive me? “ amazing.

"I am looking them in the eyes, Orson."

Legend

This story makes so much more sense when you realize Burt was the original Florida man.

I need a copy of Burt's stunts dvd.

Dudes a legend. RIP Burt.

Great fucking story.

The funny thing is that's exactly how I always pictured Burt in his later years.

I really want to watch Burt's DVD.

Screw the outtakes, this is the real “behind the scenes” that people want!

Best story I've heard in a while. The "Why My Back Hurts" slayed me.

When Burt Reynolds died my dad couldn't believe it, he gave me the impression that now that Burt was gone he didn't have long himself anymore. He died himself two months later. RIP

Jay got the same treatment that Paul Thomas Anderson got when he directed Burt on Boogie Nights 😂

Burt Reynolds was one of a kind... thank God.

opiate-addled Burt Reynolds sounds like a trip

Thank you for NOT throwing Burt under the bus. The man's a LEGEND and deserves that respect.

Burt directing a Dukes movie would've been wild.

I have more than a little sympathy for someone who genuinely asks for forgiveness. Burt lived a rough life and seemed to know that he treated people badly in his younger days. There was an interview where he confessed to being an asshole to a lot of people when he was at the height of his fame, and it came across as true regret. Of course, manipulators can do that too, but I hope that he leaned on God's grace and forgiveness at the end of his life.

Bro...this is the best story ever told. Makes me love Bert even more
