Dress walked so Guilty As Sin could run 😂

The song still gives me goosebumps. I can't wait to hear you turn it into a banger.

My man in the back was just TIRED

Honestly this is overall my favorite song of hers.  🧡🧡

There have been a lot of times when I didn’t like some of Taylor’s songs, but eventually, I’d go back and listen to them and end up falling in love with them. I feel like most of Taylor’s songs need time to grow on you before you really start to appreciate them. Thank you for your reaction.

Also, she has 8 years more of songwriting between this and Showgirl

Your buzz cut my bleach blond...when Taylor met Joe Alwyn at the Met Gala.

What’s so cool and interesting about her music is, is that each album is so different that when you react to a song you have to judge it completely on its own.

I know I always say it, but that face and those eyes lol 😁.
I liked the part where you were like, "not what I expected, but good for her"-you made me laugh.
I was waiting for your face on the last "Stop". You did not disappoint 😁.
Vocally, I like how she switched from a high, airy to a lower, controlled voice. She's showing off her vocal talent there because switching between the two isn't easy, and she does it super tight.
Production-wise, I love the almost echo or wave feel of the drums hitting 1 instead of 2, then the snaps come in on 2, and the drums fade. I also like where the base drum comes in, almost sounding like a clap.
My favorite part is the STOP. Then she comes back in, hard builds the music, and the tempo picks up, creating a feeling of excitement as the song wraps up. It's good and dramatic.
Side note:
To be a Swiftie, you have to remember she does "Easter Eggs" and writes about her partners.
The fate of Ophilia is great. It's poetic and involved, which reflects who and what it's about. She's singing about how Travis saved her from her self-made tower of misery, and he saved her from the fate that Ophelia suffered with Hamlet.
Dress is about her "roommate" and reflects the secret fling they were having, and in parts sounds almost orgasmic. The whole album reflects how her relationships and songwriting gave her a bad rep, as made clear in Look What You Made Me Do. She was kinda in hiding during the making of the album because of her Reputation. The title itself is a bit of an "easter egg".
The difference you are observing and contrasting between the Reputation. Loasg is that the difference is being lost, unhappy, and concerned about what the public thinks/thought of her, contrasted with her being happy, fulfilled, and with a sense of direction for the future, which she obviously wants based on her songs. She finally does not care what anyone thinks. You are noticing her personal and musical maturity. Sadly, many of her fans did not like the direction LoaSG took. Obviously, I disagree with them.

I really appreciate the way you do your reaction videos. Listening to it straight through and just sitting in the song without all the pausing first and then going back and breaking it down.

I can't wait to hear how you make this better.
Also, TS owns all her music now.

I know you prefer to hear the studio version because you can hear the vocals and the music. However, there’s many songs (this is definitely one) that the live performance is far superior.
Chefs kiss 😘😂🎉

Oh man, I feel a bit bad because we hyped this up so much, I fear you were alsmont afraid to not like it... I think we have to be a bit more reserved with the next album to not steer you in any direction! Thanks Jason, that was a fun one!!

Great reaction!  Several people have mentioned that the live version of this is excellent and I definitely agree.  We know how much you love a good "drop", now just imagine her in a full stadium singing this song and what the drop sounds like :-)  Truly a chef's kiss!!

Been following you long enough to know you were going to love that drop!   I was waiting for it lol

My fav!!!!! 🖤🖤🖤

Brb I gotta go watch the last episode of the summer I turned pretty for the 1,000th time 😂 seriously love this song

you should react to the Eras Tour the final show!

Not commenting on this reaction specifically but just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed your reactions.  From the format (listening to it raw first, then replaying it to do the commentary.  It allows us to see your emotional reaction through facial expressions.  Most reactors miss so much with the constant stop/go plus they always stop during runs and in awkward moments) to the way you break things down in depth (production, lyrics, general vibe and feelings).  You also have no problem being honest and saying if you don't like it.  I'm guessing you tone it down a tad when you do dislike it (no one can blame you, us swifties can be scary) but you're not blowing smoke up everyone's asses loving everything to get more views.  Even when you don't like a song you can appreciate parts of it.  I may disagree on some of your takes but the way you express your dislike isn't off-putting to diehard fans.
