Never skip a Justin video

Just a comment, I think sales will improve soon because prices to buy new things have skyrocketed. I used to never buy stuff on eBay myself, but now I find myself going there to find better prices that the retail stores.

I drop off at a local place that helps the poor.
They sell everything at around one dollar and you can donate food the give to the local homeless

I always worry about canceling  too many listings at one time. I guess Ebay doesn't care, but I worry.

Hey ✋ owner of the Go Back Machine store. Thank you for your insight and appreciate the feedback. Your videos have helped me a whole bunch!

My favorite is the black screen when you just talk... 😂❤

Hi, Justin. I feel like you’re one of the most informative reseller channels, if not THE most informative. I would really appreciate it if you could review our store. My husband and I started about a year ago and would appreciate any advice you could give us. Thank you so much.

I am a new eBay seller since October of 2024. I am plugging along and trying to find ways to stimulate sales. I recently increased all of my promotional percentages to 6% instead of the minimum 2%. It makes absolutely no sense at all, but it's almost like doing that totally killed my sales. For the weak following, I only had one sale when previously I would have one or two, and sometimes three sales a day. Needless to say, after that first week I went back and put all the promotional percentages back to 2%. Almost immediately my sales started coming back in at 1 or 2 a day. Still hoping to increase my sales! I will try the reset idea. I am 71 years old and wanting to retire, but needing some extra income. Hoping I can accomplish that through ebay! 🙂 All the best!

I’ve spent a week culling my inventory & repacking what I’ve kept. I now know what’s in all my bins having labeled each one specifically for its content. I made two trips to the American Cancer Society Store after taking pictures of all of my donation attaching the pictures to my donation slips. I feel so much better now and my selling area is neat & tidy.

For the Heathcote Mercantile store, fix the typos in the sub-heading (merchantise should be merchandise) and PreLoved should be Pre-Loved. I would add photos of the  clothes with measuring tape showing sizes (chest, length etc). Also, have measurements in cm and inches (use online converter).  If the clothes are hard to shift, you could consider creating bundles of clothes of the same size/brand which saves the buyer postage costs. Ebay has a sales conversion rate calculation on your selling page if you're above 5% you're doing better than most, though above 3% is OK. Agree with Justin on the flat white backgrounds for clothes.

I have a small store, but I use a Dutch auction method: every time I add a new item, I take the oldest item and knock down the price, usually by $1 (or more if it's $100+).

I just got my first bad review, and it was completely unnecessary. The buyer could have simply asked for a refund, but instead, she left a negative review without even giving me a chance to fix the issue. I reached out and offered a full refund, but she never responded. It’s really frustrating!

I feel the same way when taking a load of stuff to Goodwill. It’s so freeing to know I don’t have to deal that junk anymore!

Relisting and revising store items make a difference.  Refreshing the store usually leads to a string of sales of items that have been sitting unviewed.

There is a large list of things Goodwill does not take but they will not argue when they need to get a bunch of donations sorted, they'll just throw it in the garbage for you. Just in case you think your vintage/antique stuff still gets used, nah, it goes to the dump. More reasons to love them :D

I noticed sometimes eBay deletes certain listings. Going through inventory helps find these too

That ending was so epic😂

Yes, i was still there for the discussion on weather. Also liked the quick assessment and steps of accepting an offer mid-video.

I started reselling last summer so I've found myself in this situation as of recent. Depending on what kind of unsold items you are dealing with, bundling similar items into bigger lots might be the way to go, it's been working for me so far.

I do agree with this particular issue. Smart process! Thank you.
I'm a ghostwriter and have many product sellers, and the common issue I hear about is they have products they cannot sell.

Instead of focusing on the store itself, we focused on social media and turned their pages into more of an authority source for their particular niche of products.

It's always about the consumer's experience. When you start creating valid, valuable and useful content that pertains to your slow or nonmoving products. When they feel good about everything they see, read or watch is more important than you think.

Many of my clients were completely astonished at how well it worked. Just another option that can help you clear that unwanted products

Hope this makes sense.
