"You have a predator in your house." If you only knew how accurate that statement was.

29:53 Charlie Sheen arrested for drugs is probably the most realistic part of the movie. 🤪

Nikki “Never trust a ponytail” while wearing a ponytail 😂

When Cameron was in Egypt's land: Let my Cameron go

The more I see this movie, the older I get, the more its just clear, that Ferris isn't doing all this shit because hes selfish. He can be, and has been, but its so important for him to include Cameron, because he knows Cameron is not prepared to handle life on his own after high school. Breaking free from anxiety and his controlling distant father.

The irony of Nikki thinking the police station scene is creepy is that actually Jennifer Grey is nearly 5 and a half years older than Charlie Sheen.

And Sheen was probably still 19 while Grey was 25 when the scene was shot - so HE was the teenager  😅

Her: "OMG, That principle should go to jail"

Me: Uhhhh...funny you should say that....

I will forever remember this as the movie that did after-credit scenes before they were trendy

6:58 He learned his hacking skills in the prequel movie … “War Games” 😅

"Stay home, play a lot of video games, feel guilty" still describes my social life at 37, I feel called out.

If you watch this film not from the perspective of skipping school, but someone that wants to save their best friend from depression, it makes a lot more sense.

I love that your reaction to Ferris is "look, we live in a SOCIETY! there are RULES!" 😂

"He looks like he's 16 and 45 and the same time..." You just described every Gen X'er, that's what we were.   😄

The museum scene is my most favorite scene, not just in this movie, but in all movies. I just love this music, the romantic vibes between Farris and Sloan, Cameron staring into the Seurat painting. It gives me such peace. 🥰

"Never trust a ponytail."
Who's going to tell her? :)

Main proofs that this is about Cameron:

1.  Ferris doesn't change over the course of the movie.  Cameron changes a lot.

2.  Cameron's emotions in the movie are extreme.  Ferris's aren't, and the few that are strong at all, most of them are about Cameron's life instead of his own.

3.  Ferris has done this 9 times.  His worst fear for himself is that his fun might be cut short.  But he's legit worried about his friend's ability to cope with life in general.

4.  Closing argument: "Who do you love???  You love a CAR!"  Who can hear that line in that tone of voice and not know for sure who this movie is about.  Ferris isn't even capable of that level of feeling.

You treated Ferris and his sister like you'd never encountered GenX before, lol

Ferris noticed that Cameron was struggling and tries to do something to help him. The main problem is that Ferris has no idea how to do deal with Cameron's depression. It takes Cameron realizing that Ferris and Sloan had ditched school to spend the day with him and that they care for him.

Now she understands the end credits for the original Deadpool

Charlie Sheen stayed-up for over 48 hours before his scene to look like an authentic low-life, strung-out drug-dealer.

I remember watching this in the theatre when it came out, very quotable movie....
