I definitely would make a point of using the bare bulb because my mind wouldn't allow me to use the one that fills the modifier a little less efficiently lol. But I do agree that the difference doesn't look like much of a big deal. Still significant enough for me. Love that you do these detailed tests and that you're honest and straightforward. Great video! Interestingly enough, in the Sharpen video about "Overpowering the Sun" the AD200 with the fresnel head smoked an AD600 when they were both using a shoot-through umbrella, but fell notably behind when they were both placed in softboxes. You touched on the difference of the intensity of light between the ad200 bare bulb and the fresnel head, but it's good to be aware that the modifier itself can additionally make an enormous difference on top of that.

I basically did this test myself and the green color cast was my primary issue. Easy enough to correct for, but one more thing to fk with every shoot. Pain in the aas
