I remember being so upset I couldn't save Lisa! I was sure I did something wrong.

I really enjoyed your video on Code Veronica and brother, it brought back so many memories for me! I haven’t played that game since it came out when I got it day one whem I was nineteen. Anyways it was nice to get reacquainted with that game because it is one of my favorite RE titles. I must say I’m stoked for the Veronica remake! It sounds like they are really working on making it special and expanding Chris and Wesker’s parts in the game’s narrative.

This particular video is bringing back memories as well and I was eighteen here and still living at home with my parents when I first got Silent Hill for the PS1.

Another horror game from 1999 that was really interesting and creepy was the N64 game, Shadow Man 64. That game blew my mind at the time and with it featuring Jack the Ripper as a character and the other four serial killers who were inspired, amalgamations of real killers that the Acclaim development team came up with that in the game collectively came together to form the group known as “The Five” as they were trying to resurrect the demonic entity known as Legion and bring the realms of  “Deadside” and “Liveside” together in an apocalyptic event! Man, I tell you what, that game was way ahead of its time imo! From what I remember, the character of Michael LeRoi (Shadow Man) was a pretty cool character if you asked me and I thought he had a interesting look and a distinct voice.

Have you played that particular game? If not you should check it out. I haven’t played it since the Dreamcast port way back in 2000 or 2001 but it definitely left an impression on me as a young man. I remember having never had an experience with a game like that.

Another horror game from the late 90’s that wasn’t as high on narrative and was basically just pure hack & slash yet had a great score and atmosphere was the PS1 game, Nightmare Creatures! I believe it hit in like 1997 or somewhere close to there. I remember playing it along with the director’s cut of Resident Evil that came with a demo for RE2 and just having so much fun at that time!

Edit: I will say that I am really curious to see what Blooper Team does with the Silent Hill remake because it was a PS1 game and it’s locals/architecture, characters and monsters will be altered/redesigned more than any that they have remade just based on the fact of how plain & simple the polygons and designs were back then. I think it’ll be really interesting to actually see these horrors with contemporary designs and tech!

I'm not ready for that Lisa scene 😔

What's up Jon. Shout out to you, Ant and Dustin for the Silent Hill Town Fall play through. Love all your options about SH's past games and what Konami going to do with it in the near future.
Wow...Silent Hill 1....this bring back memories. I remember a friend back at 1999 gave me this game and I had no idea it existed, but when I played it (Fast forward) Here we are now.
Love the video. Looking forward to the remake.

Peace out guys.
