Parasite Eve will always have a special place in my heart.
That special place takes the form of nightmares as a child after seeing that first enemy mutation cutscene.
I watched a playthrough of it to face my fears some time in my twenties.
I would Love to see a reboot/remaster of this franchise.

Weirdly enough I’ve been replaying The 3rd Birthday this past week on my PSVita

One of these days I have to try to finish this game. I got stuck somewhere around the park level. I just had too few bullets and too little health to get through the enemies and I'm fairly sure that I need to restart the playthrough in order to better plan things out and make it through.

Wtf, I JUST finished my first playthrough.

This game was incredible! I've played through it, and new game plus every few years. Music was great, story awesome, gameplay addictive and atmosphere spooky and dark. Love it so much!

As long as you ignore everything after the first game:  Aya is absolutely my favorite female protagonist from a video game.  She's far and away the best, just forget the dozen year long campaign to break down everything good about her that Square had to embark on for no reason.
