Great video and great car!  I appreciate your insight on your experience with the car.

Just bought a TTRS MK3

Bought a manual 2010, fully loaded, 37k miles for £20k, 6 months warranty 4 weeks ago. Full Audi history + full Audi warranty. I wanted a manual as all my other cars / vans are automatic. Same colour, same wheel set as yours. Doing all the fluids next week.

Another great vid mate and an epic car…one day I will have one 😃

Stonebuoy fans dey worry oooo

Great video Chris your car looks stunning mate. I bought mine 3 years ago with 39k on the clock. It’s a manual in Suzuka grey. The car is mint. Like you I changed the rear arms as they were looking tired and the suspension has been changed for KW’s. I love the car and have no intentions of getting rid of it. The RS’s look and sound fantastic. You’re right I think the prices will sky rocket in years to come. ATB mate 👍

Had my 09 TTRS for 5 years now. 119,000 miles and I drive it! Track days and regular use and running stage 3 (460hp and 510ft/lb torque). It’s no garage queen, stone chips all over the front from hard driving but mechanically it’s great (leak down and compression tests all green, all chains done and it’s an animal)!

Lovely car !
Top work Chris 😎

this vehicle looks amazing

Great video

I had the same colour enjoyed 6 years of ownership before getting the MK3 RS in 2017.  The only negative of the MK2 RS was the understeer.

It's a beaut 😍 my offer of a swap still stands 😂✌️😊

Belle vidéo Chris 😉. Superbe voiture, super TT 👍 😉

Look how much RS3’s are worth now, I can’t see these going up to that level of value, purely for practicality reasons but they will still be worth excellent money no doubt.

You really have to drive yout TT RS more, i've done 9k miles last year. It's so much fun to drive it.

Having recently bought a MKII 2.0 TFSI Quattro, I highly recomment buying ANY TT MKII Quattro, it's one heck of a car in any guise. Stop dreaming, stsrt buying. It's mostly aluminium, so it won't rust like most others, and @Car Chris and others, plus the forums, will help you work on it yourself. Me, I'm waiting for an EV conversion kit, which will come due to ti's commonality with other VAG products.. And then it'll be even quicker, with the same weight!

I bought mine 3 years ago with 128.000 km on the clock and done about 12.000km since then (roughly 86.000miles total). Car had pretty decent history apart from few cosmetic mishaps, which were fixed under insurance policy. Everything was fine until this summer when DQ500 decided to give me a hard time.. Well, the problem was probably already there, I just didn't think much of it until now. I've been to every Audi forum imaginable, I've probably been a pain in the a** to many mechanics around my town, I've been to 2 official dealers,.. -one of them even advised me to change fluids -And so we did! Nothing much changed. Very loud noise / bang / clunk when changing gears from 3rd to 4th and 5th to 4th. But only when the car warms up. I obsessed myself with this so much, I hardly even drove the car throughout this season. After countless  hours spent on forums and mechanical inspections we came to a conclusion. Synchronizers. I've done nothing less than pamper the car and I never spared a dime when service was due -be that oil change, tires, haldex,.. you name it. I'm pretty positive previous owner looked after the car as well.

So.. If you are someone reading this, who really wants this car: Go for a proper test drive. I fell in love on the spot and immediately missed a few things.. Warm it up, go through the gears and listen to every noise it makes. These gearboxes can be a bit clunky, that is true, but they most definitely shouldn't make any banging sounds when shifting gears.

On a personal note, knowing what I know now, if I had a chance to choose between manual or automatic again, I'd probably go for the manual. Just for the peace of mind. Don't get me wrong, S-Tronic is amazing! ..But only when it's working correctly. I have a big bill coming my way so.. do what you will 😅

I'd also like to add this: This engine truly is a masterpiece. Combine that with a cool looking body, nice interior and you've got yourself a winner worth keeping.

Great video as always, Chris! 💪

Nice video, but i think that manual trasmission Is the real big value in the future for this car, like audi r8

Those daza motors are so easy to make 900hp and even more if done right. I enjoyed the video my fiend have a 2012 tts prestige with the dsg. Imo the dsg is lightning fast shifts and absolutely wicked  these rides. I got stage 1 from apr with a 3"downpipe that I need to install. My next upgrade is a high fuel pressure pump and intercooler and go with map 2. Hope to see more
