This week we’re taking our motorhome on another Scottish adventure, heading to the beautiful Loch Ness Caravan Park at Fort Augustus.

We’ve been told that Invermoriston can be a great place to see salmon making their way upstream — and, if we’re really lucky, we might even see them leaping up the river! 🐟

So that’s exactly what we’re hoping for!

We explore the lovely village of Invermoriston, take a walk along the river and spend some time watching and waiting to see if the salmon will put on a show for us.

We also spend some time exploring Fort Augustus, taking in the stunning scenery around the southern end of Loch Ness and enjoying life on the road in our motorhome. 🚐

As always, not everything goes exactly to plan when you’re looking for wildlife… sometimes you have to be patient, keep your eyes open and hope that nature decides to cooperate! 😂

Will we actually see the salmon leaping?
