Got my new IM5 the other day. It is so so good. Thank you MG and thank you IM.

Useful tip I discovered when a Tesla Supercharger threw a wobbly on my IM6 (Supercharger and car both said 'starting charging' but neither actually completed the process, so I had no way to push a 'stop charging' button to tell it to abort!) - if you're stuck on a charger and can't unplug the cable, pushing the 'close' button inside the flap worked for me! Seems if the car isn't connected, it closes the flap - if the car IS connected, it unlocks the connector.

My first car was a British racing green MG ZR way back in 2004, its little wing mirrors used to flap on the autobahn at 105mph, loved that wee beast of a car, took me all round Europe and was absolutely faultless, so I genuinely cannot wait to get behind the wheel of my IM5 when it arrives in September! Such a beautiful looking machine and I cannot believe the amount of tech they’ve managed to cram into them. Definitely looking forward to my first time crab walking it! Waaaaaay nicer than any yuck bland Tesla in my personal opinion.

Got my IM6 Launch Edition! It's so much fun.

I'm test driving the IM5 next week.

Great video, the MG IM 6 looks really good and the features are really cool, as a dealer would like to see another video of what the actual range results you get with the weather slightly dipping maybe after a few days of driving it around, and would you show a few of the features such as crab and the reversing? Also
can you command it to pull out of a very tight parking bay to get in because someone has parked to close to you?
Thank you 🙏

Should be getting my black standard range IM5 soon. Coming from an MG4 SE SR. Hoping to see a nice jump in quality and range.

Amazing cars

One biggest downside about this car post test drive is the almost horizontal screen. If youre tall and have the seat further away, good luck. Perfect angle to glare straight into your eyes, and you have to lean forward to be able to see it as it doesnt have that great viewing angles.

The lack of a hazard light symbol on the button right next to the dial emergency services button is interesting too. The salesman doing the demo even pressed the wrong one.

Nice

Crazy how far down you have to look to control the AC and other functions

I test drive this amazing car today.
The best of the best.
I need to make uber some times...
But...
Finally I'll not buy because...
The Uber not accept this car...
This is crazy.
I'm so upset 😢😢😢😢.
So sad...

@MG what insurance band is this vehicle? Is is going to be affordable to insure?

do you have to press the button on your phone every time you want to drive?

Disappointing, international markets do not get the pillar-to-pillar screen across the dashboard ☹

How do the lights adapt for driving on the right? Is the alarm optional thus avoiding ferry crossing issues

What if when you allow the car to park for you it hits something?

Can anyone tell me where I can find the IM5's wifi hotspot password? Manual says it's in the settings/link menu, but this is the 'connect' menu on my display and the hotspot menu isn't there. Any help is much appreciated

Where do you get the cover the key please

Everything I can tolerate now but not that odd shaped screens.. I prefer something like Tesla model y, vinfast vf 7, 8 etc. I don't like frameless doors. There are people who like that but not me prefer framed doors.....
