Local news reports described it as an old air raid shelter after a fire damaged the site, but after exploring inside, I’m not convinced that’s the full story. With multiple rooms, original electrical fittings, switches, lighting, and ventilation system still in place, it appears far more complex than a standard shelter.
Reaching it wasn’t easy - I had to climb down the cliff using trees and branches before entering the smoke-blackened interior left behind by the recent fire.
