Animal control/ welfare officer here.  I've watched the original video unedited. Nothing criminal or cruel is happening.  Great training vids. Keep educating. ❤

This is the most professional and appropriate response to social media bullying I have ever seen. Well done sir!!!

I spent 9 years in the Army handling working dogs. There is nothing about the corrective techniques shown here that constitutes animal abuse. The dogs were handled in a humane and productive way that positively corrected their behavior. These dogs are now living their best lives with the people that love them. Good job, and keep on doing what you do. Thank you for sharing!

Just wanted to take a moment and thank ALL of you for the amazing out pouring of support from literally across the globe.  It's incredible and my family and I are humbled and speechless.  We did not know what to expect when putting this type of video out there.  Nothing about this experience has been pleasant.  Making this video and putting it out there I struggled with for days on what was the right thing to do.  I was told by many to file a lawsuit, I was told by others that this will just blow over.  But in my heart, whether it was right or wrong, I couldn't just sit there and let these individuals continue to tarnish my reputation over a lie.  It all but killed me to stay quiet for as long as I have trying to "do the right thing" and not engage in BS.  But it comes to a point that if you poke a bear long enough it's going to move.  So whether posting this video was the right or wrong thing to do only time will tell but it felt like the right thing despite being very difficult to do.  It's not fun being on trial and having to defend yourself in a public forum.  It's even harder to do it and stay composed.  But enough about me.  This isn't about me anymore.  It's always been about my family, my business and my customers.  But, the best thing to come out of this whole ordeal is the response from all of you from everywhere and all walks of life. I am absolutely humbled by the response and never in my wildest dreams did I imagine so many of you to have so many unbelievably nice things to say.  Like I said, I never did this for views.  I was embarrassed to even have to film something like this. But with my wife and team by my side, they told me they believed in me and to do what I felt was the right thing to do. Again, it's so difficult to figure out what is the right thing to do in such a strange and fabricated situation as this that came out of left field and caught me completely off guard.  I don't wish this BS on anyone.  Again, the best thing that came out of it was each and every one of you who reached out publicly and privately to offer your love and support.  It's very difficult for me to even comprehend what I did to deserve even 1% of the love and support I have received.  I am truly humbled and honored to receive every single comment.  My cup is completely overflowing and I just can't even put into words how appreciative I am and how much of a roller coaster ride it has been.  All I can say is I have grown a lot from this experience and most importantly realize even more so how much more work I need to put in to even begin to deserve the level of love and support we have received.  It's unbelievable and I want to keep pushing ahead to try to live up to your expectations of me.  It's a challenging task no doubt but I will try my best.  It's a very tall order but you all deserve everything I can give and more.  I am forever grateful.  Thank you so much. I am truly honored and blessed by your support.  🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️🫡🫡🫡🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

I’ve watched practically every video Garrett has produced including the one in question, and there’s NO ONE I’d rather have training my dog than this guy…

That deer is listening to your testimony.

The Guide elaborates on the techniques used on the show. The examples given in the https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxECnmSvBSv_NGWx4_ChD73pF3NYZwI2F3 are helpful and some of the techniques suggested very useful. One such technique/tool suggested was the lure stick to encourage a small dog to keep up with the heel command. I have a small dog who lags behind smelling any and everything and find it hard to keep bending over while walking to his level. The lure stick is great also for another dogs focus and sprinting at anything that catches her eye. The stories about different dogs, their different temperaments, have been helpful, especially Lulu's: After reading about Lulu's challenges I felt relief concerning one of my rescues that I have had for 10 years. Over many years I have checked out many training books from the library, watched different shows, DVDS, bought training books, taken lessons and this book is the best by far! Kindness, patience and perseverance works.

Defamation lawsuit to them ALL

Anyone who can't tell the difference between a Belgian Malinois and a German Shepherd shepherd isn't worth my time.

You need to contact an attorney and sue this person for slander and libel.  What they did is inexcusable!

Retired PD K-9 officer and you handled that exactly as it should be. If a dog is trying to be dominate, you have to put them in a submissive position and leave them there until they are calm, no matter how long it takes. I have scars on my hands from one of my Malinuts and putting him in a submissive position was the only way to stop him from getting over excited and biting me. You're a great trainer and I love how you handled this!

30+ year Certified K-9 Trainer, and I approve his message.

We save broken dogs, so that they can be the dogs you admire with the smiles on their face and contentment in their eyes as you walk past, without knowing what would’ve have become of them otherwise.

You and Tom Davis are just about the only trainers I see on social media that will ACTUALLY fix a truly aggressive dog. Kudos to you both. You have my full support in this difficult time.

You have a very no punches pulled, direct attitude, which personally I love and find extremely entertaining. Let the snowflakes melt if they want to melt

I am a 71 yr old women living on a farm that I have LDG'S to protect my Sheep, Chickens and other animals. Over the years have had 12 different breeds of dogs all types. In my younger years I worked for the NYC Dog Groomers in Manhattan. I have dealt with hundreds of breeds. What people don't know that animals are not emotional like humans.
You are so true in what you say. You just can't fix STUPID.!!!!  I STAND WITH YOU!!! THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO--KEEP IT UP!!!

I hate social media. People are so quick to jump on a bandwagon. It is seriously out of control.
I love watching your videos , and the insight you give is so informative. Please continue doing what you do and I hope you and your family are getting back to normal from all of this. Positive vibes for your wife’s healing as well.

My wife is a dog trainer, we have not seen any abuse. I would speak to a lawyer about a cease and desist letter and sue them for liable. We run a rescue now and we have trolls. We just block them. We do not engage them. We never had to put a dog down for behavior.  We no longer work with aggressive dogs like we used to. My wife was attacked by an unpredictable dog. Resulting in nerve damage. We need more trainers such as yourself. I am so very sorry that your family is going thru this. 1:01:10

Watching the pain and stress that you and your family had to deal with is utterly infuriating and the fact that Facebook or Youtube wont protect their users is just unacceptable. I wish you and your family all the best, you did the right thing bringing this up. Stay strong man <3

These praise and treat only trainers are narrow minded.  They never take on severe aggression. Their videos are all talking and no success stories. I commend you for your work saving dogs and your integrity.

I'm two months late seeing this video, I just finished watching it. It is so professional and totally open and clear. I am so sorry and hurt that there are people who feel the need to threaten, degrade  and slander others.  Especially without the lack of knowledge and proof. I send you strength and support. Keep doing your job. 🐶🐾
