Despite it's age, it doesn't look dated or old fashioned. It's better looking than most new cars even now.

It's not just the feel, it's also control: You don't have to be afraid that the car does things on its own and it's not connected to the manufacturer snitching everytime you secretly drive too fast on a backroad.

I had a 205GTi 1.9, and then I had a 309GTi, and then I had another 205GTi between 1990-95. I loved them all. Back in those days it felt so quick, and it still looks beautiful today.

Ahh my 1st car at 18. A red one of these with red carpet was waiting on the drive. Already 13 years old but new and amazing to me. Onr day I'll buy another.

What made these cars great was the handling and lightness and the smoothness of the engines. Everything is way too heavy nowadays.

I bought my 1.9 just over 10 years ago now, same colour as this Graphite Grey.

The Tolman Editions are stunning cars and the updates they can do to them, make them so
much easier to use them everyday.
My car can be very stuttery until it gets properly warmed up, and it can still make you look
like a learner driver, bunny hopping in slow traffic.

But they still are an all time great.

Looks like both Richard and Izzy aren't too fond of the seatbelt position, they wouldn't have
had the option to move the anchor point on the B-post back in the day 😉

Saying a 205 GTi doesn't have a lot of ability says more about the driver than the car!

The real giveaway is the grin on Izzy's face at times. I also love that Izzy has the outlook she has on cars.
