My son has always loved cooking and watching cooking videos but I was just watching this and my almost 17yr old came up and got all happy and said “mom.. I’ve been subbed to him for 7yrs now. He’s the GOAT, I always watch his stuff. Look back at his 1st video and a lil bit later it’s rip to the fridge” an starts laughing so we watched your 1st one and now we’re sitting watching your videos together so thank you for making such great cooking videos that even younger ones love watching ❤ his dad passed 7yrs ago this July so I just know he looks up to you so thank you, I appreciate you more than you know! 🥹

What’s up dude, what happened to 50 States, 50 Plates? That was a fun series, and it was cool to see natives of those regions give approval or their own variations of the dishes in the comment sections.

This is basically how we did it at the country club I worked at, but we added white wine when cooking the shallots and garlic.

Switch it up a bit and make blackened chicken Cajun style, which adds another layer of amazing flavor

Italians will argue with each other about recipes, what chance does anyone else have of ever really pleasing them? lol In the end if you find a dish tasty, you're the one eating it and the only one whose opinion matters.

I'm glad that I know how to make Italian style Alfredo, and it's wonderful. However I have recently decided that using heavy cream for American style Alfredo is equally valid, and also delicious.

As a self-taught home cook who can now make better food than most restaurants I go to, I love your videos and and recipes. It reminds me of the early 2000's when I first started out and watched America's Test Kitchen every Saturday morning. They taught me what to do & what not to do. Fresh, simple ingredients that work together to build layers of flavor. You're my new favorite YouTubing chef. Good stuff :)

Fettuccine Alfredo happens to be my favorite food so I enjoy this video as a Red Seal Certified Chef.
Pro tip: when you want to eat this Alfredo dish the next day and want to save in portions, keep the pasta noodles and Alfredo sauce separately instead of combining it like he did in the video, then when you want to reheat just combine as much noodles and sauce as you want and then microwave and it will be very creamy and delicious!!

Growing up I hated Alfredo sauce because my mom always bought jars of the pre-made Alfredo sauce. Now that I'm a big boy and cook, I make my owe sauce just like he did in this video and it's no comparison between the jar crap and homemade. I do highly recommend to buy a block of parm cheese and grate your own. It's the biggest difference in overall quality 👌

THanks Sony for another incredible recipe. I can't believe how good this one was. You are sure a world class chef. I'm appreciative that you are sharing your genius and knowledge with us. We are not worthy.

These videos always have the obligatory ‘calm down the Italian viewers because they will get weirdly angry at a pasta recipe not being cooked ‘their’ way’ warning segment.
