Fab video of our first day together. Such a shame it was so windy, but relieved you saw both squirrels and a crestie! Looking forward to the next one.

Excellent video and amazing photos! I have one question what bag are you using that holds the 200-600mm lens?

Lovely video! I live 5mins walk away from the local Reds here in Cumbria & they literally run around my feet! Half the time i can't focus on them as they're too close but lovely to watch.

Beautiful and incredible squirrels

One question, is it possible to have the reference, model of your coworker's orange chair ?

Nothing better than the rush of your first encounter! Lovely Shots as always! Saw my first long tailed weasel this weekend fully decked in its beautiful winter coat!

All of my custom settings, save the aircraft one, are set to use the electronic shutter. I found that the sound of the MS spooked the wildlife. Also using the ES extends the life of the camera. I know rolling shutter can be a problem with ES. I always wondered how you get on using the MS ... or maybe it's a sound you dub on in post? Thanks for the video :)

Whereabouts at Inverness were you please? I visted in 2023 but i'd love to go back to do some photography. Thanks.

The Doe squirell was so sweet, (is it a Doe?) and the lesser spotted "welly -over trousers' fail would have been a hoot to capture. As always, the joy you have for your subject is totally infectious on a gloomy Sunday morning. 👍👍 Thank you for taking us along from the comfort of home.

can i just use camo tape for my lens ? instead of the expensive 150 euro lens sleeve ?

Nice red squirrel shots and glad you got to see the crestie. Not been up that way for a long time but used to always get them coming in close at the RSPB Loch Garten car park!
I'll add another endorsement for the Flexshooter as a 'do everything fairly well' tripod head - though not quite as smooth as a gimbal, it's a lot less bulky.
Did we spot you in Gretna services on the 30th Jan? We were stopped there with the kids.
