One thing I love about ur videos is how u make us feel like we are on an adventure. Like one day ur at a party and another is a forest. It’s awesome man keep it up

I’ve always had a soft-spot for DKR because it was my first as a child but to me dktf is the best one and blew it out of the water

Fun fact: Retro Studios didn't use the Kremlings nor King K. Rool in Donkey Kong County Returns simply because they just didn't like them. That's why they came up with the Tiki Tong Tribe. And the Snowmads in it's next installment, Tropical Freeze

The first one will always have a special place in my childhood

Maybe it’s just because of nostalgia and the memories I have attached to it, but damn. To see DKCR in last place hurt my soul. That was the first game I ever played and man did I love every single moment of it. Yeah it had a somewhat reused soundtrack but they updated it making it sound even cleaner. That was the game that got me into DK, and into video games in general. Although the motion controls were definitely a little annoying at times

05. Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble
04. Returns
03. Donkey Kong Country
02. Tropical Freeze
1. Diddy’s Kong Quest

0:45 I wish you did explore in the jungle even with the winter atmosphere. I mean there's tropical freeze

Nintendo probably forced them to use motion controls in returns and that was removed on the 3ds version so I think that criticism is fairly weak, honestly returns is one of the best games in the series

Personally, I'd switch 3 and 1, maybe put it above TF. 3 was indeed a slight downgrade from 2, but not nearly enough to reverse course to worse than 1! As for its relation to TF... I'll be honest, I once considered each of them the best in the series, so the difference is basically splitting hairs for me.

I know it’s extremely cliche to say this, but I’m gonna say it anyway; you really do deserve way more subscribers, because your content is just so wonderful. Looking forward to the 2D Zelda ranking!

I love the atmosphere of DKC2 and the music but I’m most nostalgic for returns!

My 4 year old niece and I love playing SNES and DKC2 and 3 are some of her favorite games. The graphics hold up really well and the game play is so varied and fun. It's so fun showing these games to a new generation of kids

The fact that he putted the DCKR forest world music in the intro because he was in a forest is just perfect ❤❤❤

Donkey Kong Country Returns was my first ever Donkey Kong game I ever played and as of I know the motion controls are the best and the best part about them is that it makes the game so engaging especially that after each boss fight you can use the Wii remote and nunchuk to literally punch and beat the heck out of the bosses.  I grew up with that game as of it deserves to be #1.

perfect list. I often change my ranking between dkc2 and tropical Freeze, because they are just perfect

I want to join. This is my favourite platformer series

1. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze
2. Donkey Kong Country 2
3. Donkey Kong Country Returns
4. Donkey Kong Country
5. Donkey Kong Country 3

3 is the only one I genuinely didn't enjoy

Great video! Can’t wait for 2D Zelda ranking, I got really into those games this year.

My rank from best to worst...

1.  DKC 3 (my favorite)
2.  DKC 2
3.  Tropical Freeze
4.  Returns
5.  DKC 1

You know a franchise will be awesome with an intro like the one seen in the first dkc

1. DK3 (I love Dixie Kong, but I also love Kiddy Kong)
2. DK2 (Stickerbush Symphony is amazing, and I love the snake)
3. DK1 (Classic game, just a little short, and not that many secrets)
4. DK TF (Good game, but doesn't compare to the classics)
5. DK CR (It was good, those motion controls aren't though)

They're all good games, I just really enjoyed the first 3. I know a lot of people don't like Kiddy Kong, but it was nice having him around the game, I hope he comes back in a future title. Also playing 2-player mode is much better in the older games than Country Returns or Tropical Freeze, didn't like how it was implemented in those games. Nonetheless, I'm a huge DK fan, and I hope they continue to make good games. Perhaps a game with Donkey Kong and Kiddy Kong with a 2-player mode playing like the originals. :)
