I apologize for the audio being a little uneven- I recorded it over a couple days, and for whatever reason the audio level is not even.

H&R / NEW ENGLAND single shotguns are very well made. I own a few and I love them. I have .410s, 12 & 10 gauges, the best.

I bought a NEF single shot .410 for my son when he was 12 years old for his first dove hunting trip. Friends and family said he will never hit anything with it because it's "only .410." By 9:00am on opening day my son had his limit in doves. Great shotgun for a junior who is mature enough to handle a firearm!

A coworker of mine is an older lady, who's husband passed a few years ago. She had no use for them and knew i liked firearms. She gave me a Remington 22lr bolt action and a H&R model 088 in 12ga. I don't know what the original barrel length was, but her husband cut it down to 20" and I gotta say, it's a nice compact, handy package.

One of my collections is the rifles and shotgun singles.

Their single shot rifles are great as well.

All awsome single shots they are worth every penny .it's a poor man's wepon

I like them. Mine is a 10 gauge and it’s in a very nce condition

I love those old H&R singles! My first new gun at age 12 was one of these in 16 gauge. It still shoots great

My first gun was a .410 NEF Pardner (father bought it at K-mart) for Christmas 1990.   Still have it.  Took many raccoons, woodchucks, crows, and rabbits.

Love these single shot H and R. shotguns. Had one in 20 and .410.9 my first shotguns)  I upgraded to a Remington pump 870 and an 100 semi auto. I wish I still had those two break open guns in my collection. Cool video.

I have the H&R Topper Model 158  in the 410 with a 28 inch barrel and Full Choke. It was made around 1970.

Got an  M48 12guage  shotgun made in 1949 , it's my favorite gun

I think the gun lives again in the savage / Stevens 301.
With the safety update. Which some of us will never understand. Thanks for the video I also have a collection of the H&R.
/ New England. Shotguns.

Like the H&R shotguns and rifles. 👍👍

Your model 88 with the AZ  prefix is 1983,  the New England Firearms with the NE prefix is 1990, and the topper jr. with the AE before the US patent number is a 1968.  Nice collection. Thank you for sharing, your video work is excellent!!

We inherited a new england made in Massachusetts from my wife's father. All black, composite furniture. 223 with an old Bushnell scope. It was his truck gun, and you can tell from the squirrel nibbles on the shoulder stock😅. Still solid. Need to do a complete takedown to het all the farm dog hair out of it!

The flame on the forend on the top one is ridiculous

I bought the H&R 20 gauge like the one shown in 1969 for $35 at the local Wal Mart.  I still have the gun in excellent condition.  It was always an accurate, easy to shoot shotgun.

Bought a 20 ga when I was 9 years old. Worked all summer mowing yards to buy it, new!! Did a lot of bird hunting with mine, in western Kansas, with my dad. Bought a 12 ga new England arms a while back and they kick, with tough pheasant loads!! Had to slip on a recoil pad on that gun!!
