there's another aspect... fascism yearns uniformity, maga women and men having the same face and doing the same procedures also stems from this desire to remove individuality, to create this uniformity that is another extension of the racist ideology.

I constantly forget Caroline is 28 and it’s always a bit of a shock when I’m reminded. She’s a year younger than me but my brain always defaults her into being minimum mid to late 30’s.

Imo, Kristi Noem's look isn't actually the "standard feminine" look. It’s excessive, ill-suited, and obviously fake. And then the blazers and 10 gallon hats add more harsh contrast. It’s a tug of war between dumbed-down "femininity" and the child-like masculinity of the far right.

i think it’s interesting how this look is actually reminiscent of 2016 makeup. i can’t remember who said or what the quote exactly was but someone said that conservatives are always years behind on trends and i definitely see it here. it’s like they just saw the kardashian family for the first time. like we’ve been through all the lip fillers and super glam makeup literally 10 years ago.
it’s kind of embarrassing

I know that this is only about women and reinforcing traditional female, gender aesthetics as a telltale sign of Fascism, but you could also say that Pete Hegseth is the male archetype of Mar-a-Lago face. The hair, chiseled jaw, the cut suits. The temper. His look, is not incidental to the reason why he is the secretary of war/defense, it’s probably a main reason why he got that job.
