At long last I return to Uboat to play the Type IX: Distant Coasts dlc. A new submarine with the same problems plus a little more.

Ryan Gosling has a nickname to his brother "bad luck Bryan"

“My Fuher, Goslings counter attack… Has failed.”

@TaliusValius-x1s 2 months ago

Bryan Gosling would later assist in the secret evacuation of civilians away from bloodthirsty IJA troops which earned a grudging respect from Churchill after ww2

- The Europe front: "RYAN GOSLING WAS ABLE TO BUILD THIS IN A PORT, WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!"
- The Asia front: "Yo who the hell is this Bryan Gosling guy?"

Mr. Churchill?
Yeah?
Captain Gosling has returned

Who would win?:

A Submarine led by one of Germany’s Top Uboat Captains with top-of-the-line weapons

Or a tiny Irish Motor Boat with a machine gun and an attitude problem

@pyroshilov8474 2 months ago

Who wins in a fight: the Virgin, well equipped, professionally staffed (almost) U-Boat or the Chad, half destroyed Irish motorboat

4:57 Well it is the rising sun flag so that's probably by design

@cptshelly 2 months ago

4:55 man they took "rising sun" a little too literally , almost makes what we did look like a shot in the dark

@bartolomyou 2 months ago

Captain gosling had to pull a hail mary to get out of that 😭🙏

Three men stand before Churchill.
One reports: "We have intercepted German communications. The Krauts are fighting each other over where to deploy Gosling. This might lead to opportunities for us and if God wills it, to Gosling being sent back and forth without doing anything."
The next speaks up: "Our American counterparts say that Gosling has been spotted sailing along their East coast. So he is accounted for and we are free from him for the time being."
The last looks perplexed: "He is in the US? That can't be right, he has been sent to Asia. We got our hands on a crew roster of the boats there and Gosling is on it - our floatplanes even report a U-boat acting just like him and with the same success too."

Churchill's eyes unfocus as he stares at a point some hundred miles ahead of him. A hand goes for a glass under his desk as he speaks in a hollow tone: "By god. This is getting out of hand, now there are two of them!"
