THANK YOU for explaining these functions.  I grew up with film, manual metered exposure, and manual focus.  Digital cameras are great but so many menus, it is crazy and intimidating.

Missing a dedicated AF-On button on the near perfect X-T2 was the only con. But, I assigned the rear command dial (push) for that function. I use it with AF-C mode.
Missing a dedicated Focus Mode selector on X-H2 was also a major drawback. You are explaining the issue so clearly.
