History of Muramatsu: Koichi Muramatsu is the founder of the Muramatsu company. He fell in love when he first heard a Boehm system flute. The sound of a Boehm system flute was new to Japan, and it inspired the young Koichi Muramatsu. He had recently acquired engineering skills while repairing instruments for the Japanese army's music school, and resolved to build his own flute. This young flautist, Muramatsu, built his first flute in 1923, thus leaving his legacy. The passion of this pioneer, who loved the flute, led him to spend his entire life building flutes, with a continuously vibrant spirit. He used to say: "During breaks at the factory, you have to play the flute. If you're not playing the flute, you won't be able to understand the needs of all flautists." All the craftsmen at Muramatsu are great flautists who keep the founder's spirit alive and incessantly research, develop, and create new prototypes, almost obsessed with the desire to produce the best flute. Quase nao consegui perceber diferença entre as duas.
Se tiver diferenca, talvez meu ouvido, perceberia se tocasse uma frase mais curta em cada flauta.
