When I talked to Perry one day on a Saturday I asked him about Regis and he called him a nut then too. He had a terrific sense of humor. Miss you Per, love you. Jeff and Linda
My first experience of hearing Perry Como was at 14, gazing at the Christmas tree lights in awe, the lights dimmed, with Perry Como singing the beautiful Ave Maria. Over thirty years later, I still love the guy and croon his great tunes regularly. His final Christmas show was in my native Ireland. He did so well, even at 81 years old at the time. Rest in Peace with your loving wife, Mr. C. My Perry Como Christmas vinyl is dusted off and ready to go!!
Another beautiful interview by his friend Regis, his relaxed manner and humbleness really comes through in these interviews, which he didnt do many of. He was a wonderful person, entertainer, philanthropist, very loyal and considerate friend, which I think comes through in all the spots that he does. Its nice that people can see the real Perry Como because he was exactly as you see him, love you and miss you Perry.
