This guy is the bob ross of wood whittling! Love it

Doug I wish there  were more  wood carvers like you who explains how and what they are doing the only way for the younger generation of wood carvers to learn is by watching someone with patience and kinda laid back         thanks again for the video's keep them coming  Ronnie

Excellent…. Thanks for sharing!

Just starting at age 80. Very relaxing. 20 years from now l might be fair.

Doug, you've revitalized my faith in myself carving figurines. Just yesterday i watched your penguin tutorial and made an owl. Today I followed this pumpkin vid abd i ended up with a pineapple lol.

How? I'm not even sure myself. But, happy little accidents. Ended up painting the pineapple and made it into SpongeBobs home.

Thanks for sharing these 👍🍻

Very cool Doug. I always enjoy your videos.

I just ordered safety gloves. I'll order the knives after I receive the gloves.

Thanks! Great job explaining for slow people like me.

Great little pumpkin man !!

Well done Doug. Looks cool as always .

Remarkable talent Doug, an early sunday morning treat watching you carve that figure.
You remind me of that bushy haired guy on PBS who taught us to paint. Great job on the carving, and the painting as well. Just like something you`d find in a store. Thank You for sharing your video, and your amazing talent. ATB

He turned out great Doug!
