Love your show, late starter, I'm 62 so carve deeper. Thanks jordy.

This is super helpful as a new wood carver. My favorite part is your self-talk of SLOW DOWN, I need to remind myself of this as well!!!

These eyes remind me a bit of the actor Anthony Hopkins. Great tutorial, Jordy. I always worry I'm going to be upset by screwing up the eyes on my pieces. So maybe I'll just grab a long board and fill it with eyes for practice.
I think a lot of people get caught up on perfection, and while I think it's a great goal, a lot of art is merely suggestion. So, like you say, if it reads as eyes, then it's eyes. They can be made to look a lot of different ways. Thank you for reminding us to just have fun with it while we learn m create.😊💯👍

Very cool stay safe Just carve

As a retired veteran  I'm looking for something to do ,so glad I found you on YouTube, leaning so much, and getting much needed peace of mind watching your art.

I like how the few places I hear you say oops, turns out just as cool as the rest of the carving.

Great save Jordy , he has a gentle  old soul look to him ,, I like him a lot 😁👊🏽✨

I don’t know why, but I really like this job! It turned out that he smiles, but his eyes are sad. As if he knows that life is a difficult and sometimes not very fun thing!)

Gives it a natural character.😊

Looks great. Thanks for sharing. Always a great teacher. Thanks for all your help.

eyes are so hard for me as a lefty  and a newbie. its the right eye i have the most issues on usually. im on my way tho. its a fun learning curve for sure.  these videos rock. help me tons. thanks jordy!

You’re awesome Jordy.. very calming and peaceful watching you carve. Greatly appreciate ya my friend

Great tips jordy

Love your work and your instruction, I watch a lot of them trying to get the hang of carving, hopefully I’ll get close one day. I watch other carvers almost all mention your name apparently every body knows you and all respect you. Keep trying to teach us how it’s done. Andy p. In missouri

Nice job Jordy eyes are so difficult.

Thankyou for sharing Jordy. Great demonstration.

That was a nice carve! I bet the eyes are hard to do! Great video!

Great tutorial Jordy. I am saving your videos so when I start carving I can refer back to them. Thanks

This is so good! Finally, I see how it's done. I want to do Clint Eastwood eyes, and this will help a lot!
