Can't believe bro tricked me into watching his playthrough

I downloaded this, played it for 15 minutes, and quickly decided I wasn't who I thought I was, then uninstalled it.

alien isolation fans watching the 100th video essay explaining how perfect the xenomorph is and how much of a masterpiece this game is

Fun fact: the reason why Kuhlman says he’s in no fit state to help, is because he was likely suffering from a withdrawal as he was a drug addict, based on the logs in the area.

On the higher difficulties the aliens can hear well enough to hear the tracker beeping, including in lockers.

As someone with a xenomorph/alien franchise obsession, the idea that the developers figured out exactly how to make xenomorphs "the perfect weapon" work as a GAME MECHANIC is terrifying and genius

@forever-dreaming4062 5 months ago

So basically, the alien thinks like a player. That's diabolical and clever.

You can't spell ignorance without IGN.

eventually you realize you can just sprint around the station and the alien can be stunlocked by audacity

ik maybe this is stupid but i like the "all our animations are made by humans", in this day and age it means a lot

@purplehaze2358 2 months ago

I will never understand how characters in this franchise can take one look at a xenomorph egg opening and not immediately have their fight or flight response set off.

My favorite way of describing how the Xenomorph's AI works in this game is along the lines of
"It knows the answer (your location) it just has to show its work."

It’s almost mysticism how good this game looks and runs for being 12 years old at this point. I’m convinced the Devs sold their souls to some power to make this possible

I love how "this production was created by humans" is the modern day equivalent to the FBI anti-piracy warnings in DVDs

One of the few horror games I've straight up never finished because of how stressed it made me. Absolute masterpiece 10/10 would never play again

I gotta say Amanda’s voice actor fucking KILLED IT. The panic, the despair, the anger, it was all portrayed so well! Like when she screamed “NO!!” at Taylor’s death or when she was catching her breath after being launched back into the ship and through the airlock. REALLY good!

The planar reflections in this game combined with it looking and running extremely well makes me wish devs for modern games focused more heavily on optimisation,rather than making you upgrade every two years.
