I use liquid alox on a 405 gr fp in a 45-70 at almost 2000 fps. Wheel weight. No leading. Good stuff for what i shoot.

Another good vid.   The SD is awfully high in all that ammo it seems.   But, cheap ammo so probably well within reason for it's class.   God bless ya brother.

I use liquid alox thinned with mineral turpentine. About 50 /50. I dip the loaded bullets and hang them up to dry with the lead downwards. Works really well on Cadet.310 which is an externally lubed heeled bullet just like a .22. But also good on 8.15 x46R Schuetzen bullets.

I'd definitely give MOS2 moly spray on them dry powder if you can't find spray. Turns things black but a little dirt never hurt. Just a thought.

Even if the group size was comparable I wouldn’t use this, just for the headaches it otherwise causes. Maybe the mixed recipe might solve those issues. So far I think the chapstick/mineral oil combo is the front runner, all things considered. Regardless, this continues to impress, much appreciated!

Ive been having good luck with a light coating of silicon grease shrinking groups from 1.2" to .3s and .2s

You might try wiping the bullets down after applying the lube to leave just the bare min of lube on bullet. Same idea when using case lube for reloading.

Try some lanolin.

It’s the worst when you have something work good that you don’t want to do😂. I’m trying to get away from unique powder but it keeps grouping the best for me and it’s really annoying

Have you considered trying or tried Hornady Dry Lube? That should t affect the chamber should you get any in the cases. I would t think anyhow.

Have you tried the old NRA formula I believe it is 50/50 Alox and beeswax. Works good for cast bullets that I have shot and less messy.

its a no for me on this stuff. loving the chp/min oil. hopefully part 3- 45/45/10% will work for you.
