im 11 and running away this week, and for runaways who need jobs go knock on doors and ask people if they need babysitting or dog walking if you can get a job because of your age

I have this odd urge to run away, i dont know why.

Guys dont run away unless you have something like an unsafe home or school life that cant be resolved with another way, its super easy to get hurt or in danger etc. and since you leave school it will be difficult to get a proper education and it will also be quite difficult to get a stable job or house

I am Running Away when Im 12 bc like i have been planning to run away for so so so long like 5 or 6 years bc I knew I was being mentally abused when I was 5, I was never accepted by my parents or siblings so I’m excited to finally run away and be free for once . I’m doing this at 12 bc I get to stay home by myself when I’m 12! So it would be perfect to run away. + my friends will run away with me for the same reasons I have tried to before but I turned back knowing I didn’t even know what to start off with plus I didn’t have a job,money,bag,or clothes packed. But now I have a whole bag I have been packing for years now ^^ it everything I need. When i get snacks I put it in there unless it can be expired. - alex ~

I’m not going to wrong way but I know sometimes because I’m pretty sure my friend is lol !
1. don’t go alone! If you go alone you’re most likely to get robbed or you can get in serious danger if you are a teenager or younger
2. please don’t bring candy! It’s not gonna fill you up and it’s just gonna take up more space I know you like candy but you really shouldn’t
3. don’t post where you are! People who have a phone or anything you can record on. You can post videos and stuff but make sure to look over your video a couple times to make sure that we don’t give a location or anything because parents will try to find you especially if they’re abusive and weird people will also try to find you
4. Bring as much food as you can! If you’re a teenager or younger you wanna bring food with you because if you don’t have a lot of money saved up and you don’t bring a lot of food because of anything you could starve
5. don’t run away unless it’s not necessary! I get it if you’re running away with a couple friends for like a weekend or two but if you’re planning to run away for a long time longer than a month parents will call the police if they are good parents and start blaming themselves
6. only Bring water! Soda and other stuff I’m not gonna hydrate you so you should bring water when you can you can buy soda or like a little sweet drink
7. Bring as much clothes as you can! A lot of clothes gonna be expensive bring as much as you do have
8. Bring more bags than two! don’t pack too heavy because remember you’re gonna have to be caring that for a long while but also don’t talk to you right or you could starve get dehydrated and a bunch of other stuff
9. this one is mainly for the tweens and kids! Don’t bring toys but bringing drawing stuff because toys are just gonna take up space and they can also break also if you’re planning to go for a couple years you’re gonna get bored of them to bring like a draw or something
10. wear dark clothing! At night time there’s a lot of creeps and weirdos so I recommend wearing dark clothing if you’re gonna be moving around a lot near people because you also wanna hide
11. this is about the creeps and weirdos! Do not take anything if people offer it to you I understand if they look nice and innocent but still unless they’re a teenager like you please don’t take anything
12. if you have weird parents but I’m gonna go look for you listen to this! There probably gonna be driving alone in cars trying to find you so that’s another reason why you’re being a friend with a lot of people because they’ll tell you if they spot out something suspicious or if they see your parents looking around
13. this one I feel like people might disagree with me! Don’t go to restaurants if it’s not necessary because they’re expensive nowadays and you might not know how much the taxes are going to be

Chat please please please know your endgame if you run away and how long you plan to be gone. If you are younger and plan to be gone until you are 17-18, you can get your GED and go to college if you want and sign up for the military to pay for college!!!!!!!!!!

Tips!

Never pack candy (optional) it doesn't fill you up as much as real food, and doesn't last as long.  (Already ready food for example)

Be careful and don't always accept an offer from strangers! There are creeps and they will take advantage of you. And if it's sketchy most definitely don't accept

Bring medical supplies, if you get a Injury, like a cut and it's bleeding badly ALWAYS wrap it up or put a bandage on it, if you don't have these 2, things will end up badly, and you could die from blood loss.

Pack as much money as you can. 50 or up is recommended. (Set a goal to get at least 100 and up too!)

Running away is recommended at night, as parents are usually asleep that time. BUT do not run away without a reason, if you get abvsed or 🍇d by parents, or a parent, that's a reason to run away. If you have a good life and you run away it makes the parent(s) feel bad and some off theirself just because they lost their kids.

I kinda wanna run away cause I am officially 16 but almost 17 in a few months but the only reason I want to is to have a fresh start in life, not deal with the pain of being accused, or having no friends anymore at school. I wanna start somewhere new, a place that’s better. But I also need to save up as much money as possible.
