I lived near Upper Heyford in Oxon. the USAF were based there and we called these American cars Traffic Jams. One on the road would clog everyone else. Huge things.

12 months into a 42 month build on my red 59 Caddy.

In Gob we trust.

Yes, sir it is a long video, but well-presented and well worth the time to watch it. To see the huge amount of work that goes into a repaint such as this and the products that are used nowadays is quite an education. To get to the outstanding quality of this work it shows that it represents a lot of attention to detail over the usual repaints that one would find in the commercial body shops (not to disparage the fine work that they do). We still have vehicles here in the states that are this huge, but they have morphed into trucks instead of cars. These were good economic times in our country and folks that could afford Cadillacs, Lincolns, and Imperials would generally trade them in on new ones at a rate of every two years or so. A very good job and a nice showing of the attention to detail. I myself am a little more partial to this shade of red as it is an original factory color. I think that sticking to the factory colors show the styling of the vehicles especially during the fifties. Viewed this one from beginning to end.🥸👍👍👍👍👍

This care is better now than it ever was.  I'm not a huge fan of this style of car, but I can appreciate the sculptural aspects of the design, and of course the massive amount of work that went into it!

I met that Fertan guy at SEMA this past November in Las Vegas.  -- I had a red 59 coupe in my wedding back, my friend Richard Walther drove it.  It was a white coupe, that he painted red.  Yea, he had red paint in the house after that....even after taping the door to the garage shut.

What a massive amount of work. The owner is obviously a true enthusiast to make that level of commitment, and you cannot argue with the results!

Enjoying your fabulous meticulous video here in Australia on a lazy Sunday afternoon, thanks so much.

Nothing wrong with you talking through the video. You add information and describe really well the process your doing. I prefer your chatting to the super speed go pro footage which can be difficult to watch. Maybe that's just an age thing. All in all, another fantastic video..

Hyped.
In my opinion,  the most beautiful car ever made and you lads have done it proud. 👍

Beautiful work!
That’s a real dream right there.
Love the ’59 caddy

Greetings from Sweden

I’m just thinking about when that goes the hole that will appear in the workshop 😂😂😂

Very nice work team 😎

What a sight to behold! That is gigantic and absolutely superb. Such a beautiful job you've done.

Beautiful work, gents! Well done.

That must have been so satisfying.. seeing all that red going on !

A very impressive project, I dread to think how expensive it must be.

You gotta love a land Yacht - well done Lou!!!

What a mammoth job that was! It's probably equivalent to painting a small wagon. I'm sure it isn't in reality, but the front nearside wing looks slightly off colour on camera, I think it will be absolutely stunning when it comes back from the detailers. Really great job.

You've struck gold finding Luke Keith . He reminds me of me  !😅 Slightly surprised the waist moulldings were fitted before the final polishing and ceramic process . Congratulations  to all 😊
