This is exactly what happened to me not being assertive enough! It makes you beat yourself up so bad 😭 I never imagined I would want to get a tattooed lasered as soon as I got it.

I had my tattoos when I was 16! I regretted it from the first day. Laser removal was not very accessible by then, but now, I'm 42 now and started removal process few weeks ago. It will take some time, a lot of money and it's sooooo painful!
Can't wait to get it all gone, finally!
I would definitely not getting tottoed ever again!

What a helpful video for people to see before and after making both the decision to get a tattoo and to remove it. Your candor and images will be appreciated by many.

I liked how comprehensive your video is. People tend to think that laser can 100% remove tattoos in a few sessions but it's untrue in most cases. You described perfectly the current limitations of this technology and what getting this treatment means (patience and pain!). Waiting for the cover up video now!

Started doing tattoo removal on my arm for black tattoos, im more on the tan side, and coming up on my 4th session. I haven’t experienced any burning or swelling the way you have, I definitely think it depends greatly on the person, the color of the tattoos and the laser that is being used. My clinic has the picosure laser and charges a fair amount, which depends mainly on the size of the tattoo. Anyway, considering your tattoos have a lot of color, the results look great for what it is, this gives me a lot more hope for the complete removal of my tattoos.

I started the process 6 weeks ago. I have now started watching videos to compare my experience. I just had my second session two days ago. They use the Pico laser, so I guess it's different from the one they used on you because my treatments are supposed to be 6 weeks apart. This time I got more blistering, but it's not that bad. The whole thing looks like an intense dark red/purple bruise for a couple days after. It definitely looks way more intense than yours did after your second session. My tattoo is black, blue, and yellow, and I was told that all colors would be removed. After the first session I was shocked with how much of the black was completely gone. the yellow faded a lot, but the blue didn't fade much in comparison. That was just after the first session, so now it will take a couple weeks to really see how the second session went.

I had a bad tattoo and immediately regretted it. I just had my first bout of Pico laser removal. Because the tattoo is all the way around my wrist they only lasered one half, and then lasered the second half 2 weeks later so that the swelling would not cut off blood circulation to my hand. The cream did very little to stop the pain and the intensity from the heat kept me up all night. I was really surprised by how much my wrist swelled up. However, I can already see the results. I'm not looking forward to my next session. Especially after seeing your photos. Holy moly that looks sore.

Thank you for sharing your experience, I have a tattoo I want to get rid of and this was very useful!

My first tattoo made me feel the same exact way! Didn’t turn out the way I wanted at all! Excited to get laser tattoo removal and have my artist do a cover up!

Good video! Thanks for explaining your experience.

The process looked like there was about 4 different stages for the tattoo:
1. Localized sunburn
2. Tattoo reminded me of the scene in "Carrie"
3. Looks like the tattoo was in a UFC fight and may have lost
4. Looks like it was partially scrubbed with an Magic Rub art eraser

I'm looking forward to seeing the cover up afterwards.

That's a lot of laser sessions, I'm having 2 large tattoos removed with the picosure laser, I'm coming up to the fourth session and it's about as faded as yours. (1 of mine has a lot of red in and that's the stubborn bit and the green has faded to a yellow which is also stubburn). Really reccomend the Picosure, the best laser on the market atm. 🌸

Your voice is peaceful and serene ..

Hate my new tattoo. I tell my artist what i want and i trusted him to make things flow better and look well thought of. I payed $900 each session. So for that price u would think they wouldn’t mess u up. Never ever trust anyone unless they’re a reputable person. And always remember that u get what u pay for. Besides, a couple more hundred goes a long way. Because now i always have to pay for a laser and endure its pain when it could have been prevented. Plus my time and money is wasted. I have a really big chest piece so i know this will hurt a bit

I have the same problem, in january I had my first tattoo in my left arm (I have more in my leg but everything it's ok down there) and I don't like it,I feel very uncomfortable and make me feel bad, angry and guilty with myself :c

Thanks for the video. Just did my second session yesterday on 4 smaller tattoos. The 1st  session - aside from the anxiety, was a cinch but the areas burned for a few days after. Yesterday was way more painful but the burning was gone when I woke up this morning. .Watching your video some time back helped me make up my mind to have my tattoos removed.

I hope you show the after of your new tattoo :) I'm excited to see what you get! The tattoo is very faded now, it's a good base to work with!

You seem like such a nice person. I'm going for my first PicoSure consultation and patch test with a reputable practitioner. My tattoo isn't too big, it's 8cm wide and on the, sort of, inside of my right shoulder more on the rotator cuff. I find it a shame that you have to put up with them not having the technology to remove colour. I am so glad I only got black. But I live in the UK so they have the latest PicoSure. I have a lot of questions for the practitioner today. And most importantly, I won't do anything I am uncomfortable with.

Explained very honestly. All the best !

thank you very much for this cohesive and comprehensive video on laser removal

super appreciated!

Yeah I’ve seen surprising that black ink is the easiest.. green yellow white are hardest I’ve heard.

Basically colored stuff is difficult
