An underappreciated thing is the accomplishments of the School of Salamanca, if you havent already read about them, read about their impact on especially the field of economics. Arguably they created the entire discipline of economics.

Salamanca is one of the most beautiful cities around the world.

Salamanca is totally amazing!!

Very few cities embody the notion of 'sense of place' like Salamanca does.

It is the most beautiful city in the world
After growing up there most of the rest of the world is a dissapointment. Pretty hard.

Best tour of a city I’ve seen so far. I had mixed emotions about Salamanca when I was there. I thought it could have had much more vegetation —especially more trees, not least to mitigate the extremes in weather. Here, however, the beauty of it was emphasized and reveled in. The architectural discussions were quite simply delightful.

More Spain please!

Beautiful and very interesting

I enjoy your descriptions around coherency and sense of place

Brilliant. Real Beauty. Spain has such a rich heritage.

My city, love it

There's even a petrol station in the city made of stone with arches as well
