Which South Park Game is your favourite 🤔

God dammit this is like the third time I’ve procrastinated working on a video for a year, just for Mark to come along and do it better than I ever could😭

Fun fact: Obsidian had to hire entirely new 2D artists for Stick of Truth since most of their existing artists were used to working in 3D.

seeing the gameboy sprites filled me with such joy that i immediately pulled my cartman plushie from across the room where he was lying abandoned on the floor to come watch the video with me. thank you mark, you helped this father remember he had a son

The extremely bit crunched “OH MY GOD! THEY KILLED KENNY!” In the Game Boy Game is really charming to me for some reason

Phone Destroyer is genuinely pretty solid, it’s actually still alive with some frequent players.

Edit: I JUST REMEMBERED. How did you not mention that Fractured Buttwhole had DLC that added quite a bit of story and a new character and class for each of them.

It’s funny/sad that the best South Park game before The Stick of Truth is the cancelled one for the Game Boy Color.

As someone who played phone destroyer for years, it was genuinely an amazing community and incredibly F2P at the time with community managers doing lots of collabs with streamers for giveaways and not just big names but those smaller guys that made up the real community. The downside is the state it stopped getting updates in is unplayable, it's totally unbalanced and feels awful to play so sadly it's kinda lost to time.

The reason the N64 version of South Park game runs better is mainly because it uses the same Turok engine as the exclusive N64 Turok games at the time. (Also because N64 has a better processor and gpu then ps1)

0:42 Kenny being the pawn is fuckin hilarious

Somewhere, in the Caddicarus Universe:
"Are you making me save South Park: Chef's love shack?"

Can't wait for the inevitable Simpsons video game ranking

Edit: I made this comment before Mark talked about him planning to make it.
Edit 2: why did this comment get so many likes and why did mark heart this comment

My favorite South Park game is the one my uncle plays with me in his spare time.

As someone born in 94' that first southpark game on the n64 was some of the most fun local multiplayer game myself and my younger brothers ever had. You were just late to the party and showed up by yourself, which breaks my heart.

25:59 Star Fox 64 actually broke the record when it came out in 1997 for most voice lines ever recorded for a video game so the n64 was capable of a lot more than people realize

Jimmy, Cmon Jimmy!

For the last time Muscle Man, there's no Cleveland Show Video Game.

I've always appreciated how South Park actually has a consistent quality when it comes to games, like they're actually usually and unsurprisingly really well-made and have a lot to discuss and praise about, and I've just always liked that.

If you put "The money is in the merchandise" on a coffee mug I'd buy it

I spent four years of my life working on Phone Destroyer. Thank you for being so kind to our game.

The best way to describe South Park Rally is a Non-Linear open kart racer
