Scott getting to promote the Gex trilogy re release is genuinely the perfect sponsor for him, truly a full circle moment

I was wondering why this Stash video had a random Gex sponsorship parody until it turned out to be a real sponsorship.

When Gex Listens to Fans

There’s no way Scott actually got a sponsor for Gex💀 this is a full circle moment lol

Why does Scott sound like Kermit at 2:42

Scott doing a Gex sponsorship feels like when you start using a silly phrase ironically, but you do it too often and then it accidentally becomes part of your normal speech

Metroid Dread is always going to be my biggest deal

I’m convinced that Scott and co played a large part in generating interest in a Gex remaster

Mother fans:
"Like that's ever gonna happen."

Always remember: the Super Paper Mario dev team made Luigi the Antichrist, and Nintendo greenlit it.

Nintendo simultaneously really cares what fans say and absolutely doesn't give a shit what fans say. This company, man.

26:19 Super Mario Party walked so Mario Party Superstars and Super Mario Party Jamboree could run.

30:24 Scott talking about Nintendo like they're a tsundere anime girl.

2 upcoming Switch 2 games are examples of Nintendo listening to fans: Donkey Kong Bananza and Kirby Air Riders.
Speaking of Kirby, you can also count Forgotten Land as a time where they listened to fans.

Metroid Dread is probably another example, though that's less about 'the direction of the series' and more about 'can we find a studio to actually make these games again?'

greatest advertisement of all time

"This is what Zelda fans wanted: The gritty, drim dark."
Majora's Mask: "Am I a joke to you?"

Smelling salts and a lizard, the best night I can think of

2:50 it is THAT video that locked eveeeeeryone into "we want that Link, not Toon Link!" I'd even say that's why Soul Calibur II sold like it did on GC

2:21 weird thing is Windwaker aged better to most audiences than Twilight Princess. Both games are great though
