3 minutes in and “I’m not an rpg guy” Scott is out in full force

Scott’s Go-To Game Review Lines :)

1. “I mean, it’s faaaiiinne”
2. “And, you know, [Bad/Questionable Game] is… [Bad/Questionable Game].”
3. “Like, who caaeeyyres man”
4. “And then we got [Bad/Questionable Game], like, uhkeyyy.
5. “Now theeese games here man, small chuckle back in the day I absolutely-
6. “Now I wouldn’t necessarily call it a “bad game” BUT-

Scott's random and bizarre shade towards Super Mario RPG serves as a stark reminder that he's Not An RPG Guy

Scott, I want to make an official petition for you to finish covering the past E3s. Now that it’s dead, you have a finite number of conferences to cover. You ended on…. 2001 I think? So that just leaves 2002-2016. Make it happen…. please.

This is easily the video with the most Pokemon mentions Scott has made and each time it feels like he's doing so at gunpoint I love it

"Age of clamtittes" best quote 18:14

54:22 i find scott catching a shiny while recording footage of x&y and naming it NICE BUG to be very amusing

Scott giving us feature length films on the side channel casually through the week

scott knowing the release date of Wii Party U off the top of his head is frightening

I love how Scott's ratings come down to vibes. Often Factually inaccurate, nostalgia biased vibes.

And yet, his verbal analysis or these eras is so spot on as someonecelse growing up gaming during these eras.

Describing pokemon Sword and Shield as "game" is the most accurate description of them ever

They set such a high standard in 2013 that will never be topped

scott's pokemon mystery dungeon opinions serve as a valuable reminder to never put creators on a pedestal

I randomly decided to wait in line at a wal mart for the midnight release of the wii. it was november so I had to go inside and get some snacks and a jacket. Wiimania seemed to hit during the night, and the line got huge. hecklers literally drove by bragging out how cool the ps3 was.

getting twilight princess, wii sports, and the virtual console all at the same time was pretty amazing.

scott saying 2022 was a light year for switch when it had splatoon 3, kirby and the forgotten land, Bayonetta 3, mario + rabbids, xenoblade 3, and two pokemon games is wild to me. not an RPG guy indeed.

i honestly thought he was gonna be like “oh wait i forgot another title for 2015” and it’s Chibi-Robo Zip Lash
huge missed opportunity

54:23 Scott just casually showing a shiny Weedle in his Pokemon XY footage there, I wonder if that was a legitimate one he ran into himself, it'd be funny as hell if it were

The party games in October are to hit the Thanksgiving market, I’d imagine. Bigger family get together holiday

1:27:05 Hey! We actually do have a somewhat sizable community for this series; the game is actually a sequel to a GBA game called Magical Vacation which was never released outside of Japan. The studio that created the games, Brownie Brown, was a splinter from Square because they didn't want to be forced to work on the Final Fantasy series, having exclusively developed the Mana series up to that point. Magical Vacation was actually the first game announced for the GBA with a title. Eventually Shinichi Kameoka (the lead artist for Legend of Mana and co-founder of the studio) and some members of the team left to form a studio independent from Nintendo called Brownies, with what remained becoming 1-Up Studio, primarily a support studio for Mario games.

And then I’m guessing for 2024 it’ll be Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Super Mario Party Jamboree, and Mario & Luigi: Brothership?
