Okay, and then Final Fantasy XV hit me in the feels. I am still upset that Regis didn't tell Noctis. I think he tried, but Noctis was immature, and oblivious about the sacrifices going on around him.
Type zero imo has to be the darkest and gritty and it starts early and doesn't get much better especially at the end, oh if you run into Gilgemesh yeah doesnt give you any quarter just plays on that fact.
Can someone explain to me how Sephiroth (the guy everyone gushes for), needs the materia Meteor to destroy a single planet, but have the move Supernova that destroys three bigger planets, blow up the sun, but it can't destroy Gaia, six humans, an android, and a dog?
If you're going on about bittersweet endings in FF, the inclusion of Celes and her attempt against her life should not be In here. Is literally the half of the game.
Correct. That FF6 scene was one of the primary ones that still stick with me, forty years later. It's one of the ones that taught me to survive my early life.
And yes, I definitely didn't realize Cid could be saved until my second play through. I just wasn't good enough to pick the fish apart and actually catch them. I think I spent an IRL hour feeding fish, before he died. I was so involved. But just didn't have the needed comprehension and skills needed to save him, until I figured it out that second time.
Also, on an unrelated note, the accent used to pronounce the FF6 names makes me want to throttle someone. 😂🙈🙉🙊
Here's the thing about FF8. People think that a little ice shard could have killed squall. But he can survive getting eaten by a T-rex, a nuclear blast to his face, a bunch of meteorites falling from the sky and clocking his noggin. He gets shot multiple times in his first SeeD mission. And still he walks it off. So no I don't think he died at all. But I do see where people are coming from.
I never played FF10-2. But i am playing FF10 for the first time. I heard that the sequel made getting the best ending basically Impossible without a guide though. That is how i feel about the original sidequests. For example how i was supposed to know that you got to dodge 200 lightnings in the same area just to get a weapon, or 1/3 or a weapon to be more precise ? 😂
