Man. I still remember getting a lucky 7 on Vincent in his chaos form during another grueling attempt at fighting emerald weapon and he just solo'd the whole damn thing while me and my bro sat back and watched xD still one of my most favourite memories <3

In addition to Young Cloud from the flashback sharing a slot with Cait Sith, Sephiroth in the flashback shares his slot with Vincent.

All these years, I never knew Red XIII had another ultimate weapon hidden in the stairway in Shinra HQ, during the "Return to Midgar" section. I kinda wanna try and get it next time I'm playing through FF7 again.

@TheRealBuriedTruth 1 year ago

Behemoth Horn wont be there if you go UP the stairs during the Midgar return. You have to Descend the stairs to find it.

The Unique Broken NPC in the Shinra HQ is an extremely rare and weird secret that's so well hidden, she isn't even on the wiki for the game

I remember finding Behemoth's Horn on my first playthrough entirely by accident, and feeling like a genius because the Bradygames official strategy guide didn't mention it.

One of my best friends wrote to square about Aerith being in the latter half of the game. He was convinced it was possible. The evidence? She's on the Highwind in the cover imagery of the game case, but she can never be on the highwind in the game. He was convinced they wouldn't put her there if it weren't possible.

They wrote back. It's not possible.

Another interesting property of the Lucky 7s status is how it interacts with poison. It is actually a speed running strategy against Materia Keeper to poison the enemy and manipulate its HP to 7,777, which results in the next poison damage tick to also do 7,777 points of damage, instantly felling the beast.

Wanted to add that the victory emote for dark knight in ffxiv is also clouds victory pose

You want a strange glitch or oddity? If you swap out* a character for sepheroth, and fight the underground reactor ghost ship, if he does his paddle kick skill, the character model sticks on the paddle then crashes the game.

Props to all the gamers who experimented with all those combos for so long to discover these. 😮

I've been playing the game since launch and didnt know the behemoth horn existed 😮😮😮

Who else also went up the Midgar HQ stairs on the 2nd visit? 😅

3:23 could this be why Cloud's Ultima Weapon in Dissidia is always Blue? Because he's always, potentially two hits from death?

@baconshake2401 1 year ago

10:41 this weapon for RED XIII was not available to find on the way up. You had to find it on the way down. I didn’t even know about this weapon until recently

The "Secret Cow Level" gag has been there since the original Eidos PC port. It worked its way over to the modern console and PC re-releases because they're all enhanced re-ports of the original Eidos port.
