The body of retired teacher Adineia Peres, 78, was found in her home in the city of Ourinhos (SP). The elderly woman had been missing, and her absence caught the attention of neighbors, who alerted the police. Upon entering the property, which showed signs of forced entry and disorder, the police found the woman's body lying in the kitchen.

Adineia was a well-known figure in the local community for her friendliness and regular routine, frequently interacting with her neighbors. The lack of this interaction worried nearby residents.

The police arrested two men related to the crime: one of them allegedly sold the victim's stolen cell phone, while the other acted as a lookout during the robbery. The latter lived near the victim's house and admitted to using drugs before the crime occurred.

The investigation continues to locate a third suspect, identified in security camera footage. He allegedly left the crime scene with the victim's personal belongings and is described as a foreigner living on the streets of the city, with nicknames such as "Leandro," "Paraguay," or "Paraná." Authorities are asking the public for help in capturing him.

Details about the exact circumstances that led to the violent death are still awaiting confirmation through necropsy examinations carried out by the competent local authorities.
