A fine Rattledrake, magnificently done.

The sound of that rattle would really be something...far louder than the rattle of a normal rattle snake.  I can imagine that sound evoking terror in the residents of the Wild Imaginary West.

Y'know what's worse than a rattledrake claiming a gold mine? A rattledrake claiming the town bank

I'd like to see a series of these. You could do so many interesting desert-themed dragon variations. A Gila monster or a horned toad would be especially cool

Some fantasy creatures that require just a tiny amount of tuning to fit a new environment or genre tend to be so memorable because of their simplicity. This is definitely one of them! I hope to use this as a big boss fight when DMing the WIW rpg.

With Greenstuff, you want to keep your tools coated in water or vaseline plus wear latex gloves when handling it like that, as you noticed it picks up a LOT of fingerprints. You want to build greenstuff up by first getting the basic shape down, let it cure, then add more on to sculpt the details. One other tip is letting it cure for 45 minutes first, it still picks up details but isn't as soft as when initially mixed. The last little tip I'll give is if you have the ribbon greenstuff, cut out the middle section where the blue and yellow are next to each other as that part has already started curing, especially if it's old greenstuff.

The paint job on the dragon/rattlesnake is insane.

I totally thought you built the base from scratch in the patreon preview. Outstanding job reworking the stock base to fit the theme.

Overall incredible job as always Boylei.

Hope the new studio build is going as planned and hope you have an awesome week.

Showed the reveal to my friend, JUST the reveal at the end and her reaction was "Oh a dragon guarding a Gold Mine is a rad concept, OH SHIT IT'S A RATTLESNAKE!" So good job on making it read Rattlesnake!

Mining in the wild imaginary west must be hell… imagine gold mining and having to take care of the original angry residents of caves, and then one day an earthquake takes out your forestall and all of a sudden a freakin DRAGON swoops in

Best part of my Sunday morning every week! ❤

Might I say, this is one of my favorite dioramas to date—possibly even my favorite. The genius of turning a dragon into an oversized flying rattlesnake (which is basically what it is, I know) just blows me away. And the execution was flawless. Everything just came together in this one.

Very excited to hear you're setting up a new studio! While it may not have a direct impact on us viewers, keeping your place tidy can only benefit your productivity. And it's nice to know one of my favorite Youtubers is setting a good example by being organized :)

To add to this, I'd trust you for a DIY project over many. The skills acquired from modeling (viz. knowing how to get your hands dirty and the way materials function) should translate pretty well to being a handyman. I reckon you'll do a fine job.

Squidmar + Boylei? EPIC. Nice conversion!

Man, that box art at the start has a very 80s dark fantasy vibe.

This one turned out particularly epic. This would be an amazing final boss for a Wild Imaginary West campaign!

That dragon mini is pretty cool to start with, what you have done with it is freaking awesome.

Superb Rattledrake! I can imagine this scene catching him just after he's, um, "liberated" his new mine from its former occupants. Now having filled in the entrance against easy pilferage, he's declaring his new ownership to the world at large...

Heck, that is stunning. The paint job on this build is something out of this world. You are a master of your trade Mr B. Well done, always a pleasure watching your videos. Thank you!

Flightless rattlesnakes are scary enough... This is the stuff of nightmare. Great work!

Squidmar crossover!!! You love to see it!!

Just got caught up with the whole WIW playlist, some amazing stuff here. I watched your videos years ago, but the algorithm betrayed me. So, the bell is now on so I can keep up with your stuff. Watching these videos has given me a lot of inspiration to get back to work on my own TTRPG that I've been slowly designing for years, and current D&D game and lore. I hope I'm able to pick up your TTRPG once it fully releases, this world has always been intruiging to me, so I bet playing in it would be a blast!
