For anyone wondering about the AOE game, it got to around 100 hours before rubens internet cut out temporarily and he got disconnected

Imagine being the guy who goes AFK in a 72 hour game.

Surprised no mention of the 3 hour 20 minute StarCraft 2 game, in a high level tournament, held the entire bracket up for hours. At one point Zerg vs Terran at high level was just standard over an hour long, with tons of 2 hour+ games, it was a horrible period of time.

I've been gaming since Day one, Longest gamer out here, Yes Atrioc!

The 1000 year dynasty Atrioc couldn’t build.

i love how every story i hear about aiden is him being a great person but also just being so grimy when it comes to winning. After hearing this and the story about him not doing a double or nothing on the yard.

"The Only Reason We Play Melee" is a fucking masterpiece, I've watched it no fewer than 10 times. One of the best FGC content pieces ever made

"the game couldnt possibly capture a person's personality, if boring people did not have an avenue to be their boring selves" is such a fire line

I love how everyone instantly knows it's gonna be about Aimen in the Sheik ditto story

"think about eSports on TV and it's best if three so you never know when it'll end" that's basically how tennis works

Someone needs to tell him about the longest pro dota 2 match that took over 200 minutes or almost 3 and a half hours for a SINGLE game and the worst part is that this was just for a qualifier

This brings me back to the days of the Lego Star Wars III Versus mode. It literally puts you on a giant battlefield and you go around building defenses and raising troops to fight a freaking war. Me and a friend of mine would easily play a single match for over an hour and I don’t think we ever really finished them because one had to go, but we had a blast. That mode was actually amazing.

Didn't even mention the 3+ year game of Diplomacy.

I LOVE melee history videos, melee stats RULES! I'm not even into smash anymore, never been into melee, but hearing about the melee community is my favourite thing to do on the internet

12:02 The difference between wobbling and what M2K was doing is while M2K was ledge chaining Wobbles could press buttons on his controller and his character would take actions. When you get wobbled you just get to sit there until you die or your opponent drops combo, you don't get to do anything.

"90 minutes is long" classic lol. Someone tell him the longest pro dota match is over 200 minutes.

It's 5am and I'm ready for Atrioc to start screaming at me. Happy Tarketing Tues, chat. 💖

R6 siege 2019 invitaional, G2 vs Empire 1st map went a full hour and 20 min long. ended up playing 2 more maps after this in a best of 5 for a 3 hour long series

I had Andre as a coach for AOE2. The guy is super friendly and extremely skilled. He doesn't charge nearly enough for his services. I recommend anyone who wants to get good at aoe look him up and get some coaching its super worth it.

The moment someone picked IceBreaker and did the wobble I just would have left without a word
