An autumn week in the Scottish cottage, full of quilting, renovations, and a little unexpected adventure.
I’m working with the Lori Holt Pumpkin Quilt Paper, and I used it to make a laptop quilt. In the video I walk through some of the steps, share tips, and practice with the Janome Accurate Stitch Regulator to get those stitches just right - or maybe not. lol.
Around the cottage, we’re getting the lounge ready for the staircase and log burner, so there’s a bit of renovation progress tucked in between the sewing.
Mr Perks' hotrod arrived (yes… it’s as fun as it sounds). We took some time out to visit the beautiful Big Water of Fleet Viaduct for a little adventure. And Bella had the best day, a happy swim in the Burn.

You really must visit Sew Hot, at Fleetwood, Lancashire, it’s a fabulous shop, but allow a few hours for your visit, there is so much to see.
