I think secret recipes are ridiculous 🤦🏻‍♀️ But that woman deserved the recipe since she was a blood-family member. Her decision not to marry is nobody else’s business

"Child free" usually indicates purposefully choosing to not have children. It doesn't usually mean they don't have kids yet.

For the secret family recipe story, the cousin is also kinda an AH for snitching...

When the other family member saw the leftovers in the fridge and asked if it was the family recipe and where she got it, the correct answer should have been, "No. That's just a recipe I found online and altered to try to make it similar. It seems close, but IDK what I'm missing. But on that note, it's ridiculous that everyone is gatekeeping our family recipe. I'm over 50 and NEVER getting married. This is stupid."

Who goes through somebody's fridge inspecting their leftovers?

Family Recipe - OP was given it when she achieved the coveted marriage milestone.  Which is a BS condition imo.  Since she now OWNS the recipe as a gift she absolutely had the right to share it with a core family member!!! It’s not like she posted it on Facebook.  But TBH - as a spinster at 58 - personally I absolutely would post it.  And TBH - red sauce is not that special.  I mean - there are limits to the variations.

I walked my daughter (20 minutes) to school everyday from ages preschool to 5th grade, a total of 7 years. It did mean I walked 40 minutes twice a day because we walked together and then I walked back. We arrived at school everyday on time and she was wide awake and ready to learn. More often than not, parents were dropping their child off from a car and their kids were half asleep.
A lot of parents saw us walking and said to me "I should do that" but they never did.
Walking in the morning helps kids wake up and gets the blood flowing so they are ready to learn.

On the girlfriend vs cleaning lady, GF doesn't realize that *she* is crossing boundaries, dictating to OP what he should do & be.

I am so in favor of op being the hero for that poor old lady not getting the recipe, she's recipe batman

Rose should be walking her kid to school… she’s a spoiled brat expecting everyone to do what they want so they don’t have to. You have a child and getting them to school is your responsibility. It’s wild OP’s brother, wife and mother expect OP to adjust their schedule… insanity!

I love the "parrot whistler" - even though he doesn't enjoy it😂

Soooo underrated this couple. My favourite reddit story show, they make reddit stories feel entertaining without the excessive put on drama. I need a couple more of these types of channels! (I love the matching T shirt theme)

The first story of OP is for sure. Not be asshole. I’m about to go on family vacation this weekend with my whole family sister and her three kids, my parents, boyfriend and our new baby and it’s always been understood that unless our parents offer to watch any of the kids on vacations. We don’t ask because it’s our responsibility and that’s not because our parents don’t help. It’s because they do help so much. And that’s just as much there. Free time and vacation as it is ours

As someone who has owned a cleaning business I want to say that is the perfect client/Housekeeper relationship 💝. Having a cleaning person you trust is super valuable and having a consistent client whose place you’re able to keep up & know what type of cleaning you will be doing (not a party person situation they are always walking into). That’s so nice. That girlfriend is 🚩🚩🚩

41:25  Omg, if 6 year olds couldn't walk for 15 minutes, then parents would not be able to bring them to places like Disney World. She's fully using her 6 year old as a scapegoat. 🤦‍♀️

25:15 So she dumped a nice guy who had cleaning lady kinda money. She stooooopid.

Absolutely-f-ing not on any obligation to watch siblings kids. Never heard of this expectation or nicety for siblings.
I find this take just wild.

Love my siblings, but love their respectful boundaries and not feeling entitled to others time and services too.

The family is with the secret recipe is rude. She can share the recipe they gave it to her.

As a British guy that has an accent that Americans love me for existing I am enamoured by yours it’s so charming

A 15 minute walk for an adult is a half hour walk with a six year old, but none of that is OP's problem tbh

Have you ever carried a six year old  for more than a 5 minute walk? They are definitely heavy. I wouldn't even want to carry my 2 yr old for 15 minutes!
That being said..... 15 minutes is definitely not that long to walk for a 6 Year old. My kids at that age and I would walk our whole town for an hour in the summer. And it's only for one month.... SIL is just being lazy....unless there is some medical or physical limitations OP is not aware of....
