Her point.
Then freaking block him.👍
We need to stop telling people that soemthing big needs to be wrong for you to end a relationship.
Sometimes there is nothing. You simply aren't right together. Doesn't mean you're not good people, doesn't mean you don't think well of each other, but if it isn't working, it isn't working. And that is a perfectly legitimate reason to leave a relationship.
If you are not the happiest you could be with someone, then it isn't right for you. Now obviously life happens and makes things tough and puts a strain on all relationships, but that person should still be your safe space and the person you yearn to be around because they bring you peace and contentment. And I feel contentment is a much better word to summarise the goal of relationships because happiness is a fleeting emotion, contentment is a still constant and it will carry you through life's ups and downs with ease. If people in your life don't bring you that, then that relationship (family, romantic, friendship) needs reevaluating.
Staying when you know it isn't working, has a horrible way of taking two decent people and making them act badly. That unhappiness with someone who is meant to take up so much of your energy, thoughts and physical space is a recipe for toxicity.
So leaving when you aren't content with it anymore is a perfectly legitimate reason to end it. You can do it nicely. You can still be kind to each other, but end it, for both of your sakes.
Staying when one person is unhappy (if it's a generally healthy relationship base don mutual respect) will only prevent you both from finding your person.
