At that time, not even my family believed me, no one supported me. It was the most terrifying experience of my life
My family, being Christians, had treated me like a disappointment for “letting it happen”, and when I realised it was SA and told them I was dismissed. They said I couldn’t have been SA’d. I didn’t tell anyone else other than the friends who had helped me realise how bad that situation was and helped me escape it.
This relationship continued after that incident and I was essentially told it was my duty to them to satisfy. Eventually I just stopped resisting or denying them. I know if those friends who helped me escape had even been in the same country they’d have looked after me like this if they knew. Thank you for this.
Happy ending - I’m now with a wonderful woman who takes amazing care of me and is unbelievably considerate. She was patient with me and let me take my time.
