The happiest people don't have the best of everything, they make the best of everything.

I've been deployed twice to Afghanistan, and one of the things I miss about it is the food, especially the bread. I had this dish quite a few times over there, and it's something I make back home in the US for breakfast to this day, although it's never quite as good because the produce is way better over there. The people of Afghanistan are among the kindest, most hardworking, and most hospitable people I've ever known.

I hope they get appreciated enough for their hard work daily. Just looking at the bread tells me it would make such a good meal.
