People complaining about the amount of oil used like they're going to consume the whole thing. Firstly, it's a massive size. Secondly, water was added. Thirdly, you're not eating all of it at once

This a huge kitchen attraction in Tashkent Uzbekistan called Besh Qozon. Serves 3,000 people daily. Plov begins with browned mutton and beef in sunflower oil, then braised with carrot, onion, garbanzo beans, salt, raisins and rice. Served with a quail egg and horsemeat sausage. It’s quite good, and on the oily side.

I am from Cameroon. My brother studied in Russia in the early 🙏🏾90s and told me about Pilaff. He loved this food. Tashkent

I was there and I ate that plov. It's by far the best dish I ever ate. Such a mix of tastes! Can't wait to go back. Cheers to chef Mirkomil!!!

Look at how genuinely happy this man was making all this wonderful food for such a special occasion. Man definitely loves his job and everything looks so good.

Uzbekistan is for sure one of the most interesting country to visit about food. Many compliments from Italy

When I was the second lead chef in Charleston SC they flew an authentic Indian chef in for a wedding for seats for 1200 ppl friends and family...he taught me this right handed plus chicken curry while doing it all right handed...it's was an amazing experience...I made so much money and plus authentic culture cooking..I'm still friends with the chef till this day and we call each other up a few times a year for opinion and help with modifications on recipes....those where the wonderful days of my youth and prime as a chef...

That looks absolutely delicious.
Also gotta appreciate how clean the chef does his job. ❤

В этом году был в солнечном Ташкенте, кушал плов! Очень вкусно и красиво! Мира и процветания Вам😁

Как же приятно слушать родной узбекский язык.

1 ton rice
1 ton meat
1 ton vegetables
Like a regular car🤣

BTW, what a honorable cook, he put almost every rice grain back in to the pot. ❤

In the end, they all ate it and we just watched it
