♡ hooded scarf crochet tutorial • beginner friendly ♡

Today we are making this super awesome, beginner friendly hooded scarf!

You’ll need
a weight 4-5 yarn (the amount varies based on how big you make your scarf but I use less than 1 Caron cake)
6mm hook
-darning needed
stitch markers
scissors

Have you tried making this no sew? I was thinking chain x, slip stitch along hood, chain x, work the 10 rows. If I'm remembering other projects correctly when doing the slip stitch along the edge of DC it's 2 on the DC and 1 on the chain turn to prevent bunching, or the other way around. Either way, the edge of every other stitch is 1/2/1/2... Just a thought

If I’ve used thinner wool and a 4.5 hook the hood is smaller so can I keep increasing to 6 and 7 to make it reach the top of my head at the back?? I’m a newbie in Ireland.
