Glad to see more train sim content on the channel.
That horn is awful, lol

Wow that horn is gutless. At least the train looks great.

Awesome... I drive thru the Cajon Pass every day.. this Hesperia up to Barstow. Oro Grande. Helen dale. Also a nice drive through there on the 66

I wish DTG and all the third parties would give us a decent freaking freight route, I don't think we've gotten a long freight route since probably Cajon

I live three miles from the BP refinery over here in Washington state, and BNSF pulls their tankers for them, so this is neat to see, another fun fact my great grandfather worked for Great Northern from 1905 to 55, he passed a year before Great Northern, and Northern Pacific merged in 70, he lived to be 84.

New JF drop = a great day 🎉

I think the stutters are linked with the old version of Unreal Engine that the sim is deeply coupled with.

Heres some common railfan horn signal knowledge

1 blast means stop
2 blasts mean you are going forward
3 blasts mean you are going in reverse

I love this game, I really hope they’ll do some American steam locomotives. It would change the game so much

I’m so happy to see train sim back on the channel! Your old TSW videos on the San Francisco and New York routes are what got me into this game ❤

8:05 Also, I do have that new BNSF loco DLC and I have been enjoying it a lot. The trains look good, it adds a new busy timetable, and has really fun scenarios. The sounds are the weakest part, but they certainly aren’t horrible. I’d love to see you try it out!

I used to work out of the Needles, CA BNSF Railyard. How funny to see the area we used to travel in a video game. I wonder how much fun a "Hot" train or a Z train is.

Now this is a great Birthday present a Jeff video and my favorite railroad all in one hope your doing well Jeff

I would like to see them have NS and CSX routes in the Southeast

Always will love the Train sim content Jeff love ya man ❤

Love videos like this with the various sims, super chill! Thanks Jeff.

This the same Cajon pass as in the train crash back in 80s?
If it is that incident from start to finish, all that happened was crazy. I remember the news on it. Seen good documentaries on it to.

Good evening.   Mr jeff

The graphics and physics is insane how realistic it is. Crazy

Hey Jeff you should check out run 8 train sim, think you would really like it!

Another day on the high iron! Danny Harmon would be proud.

i was JUST thinking of buying this route too! I travel thru this area all the time, IRL. Thanks hugely for showing this off!
OH and just so you know... IRL it was 114 here today. Youll wanna close that window! ;)
